We stayed with our two teenage daughters 18 and 16 for 10 days and had a fantastic holiday. The cottage was very clean, well equipped with a lovely terrace and barbecue for Al Fresco dining. The pool was gorgeous, very large, warm with lovely sun beds and beautiful shrubs and plants around it. The weather was fantastic and we visited many lovely places both in the day and in the evening. The local town Martina Franca is buzzing at night with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. We would definitely visit this beautiful area again, and if you are looking for total relaxation stay at Casa die Limoni, we were very sad to leave. The Taylor family.
We stayed as Casa de Limoni, the largest of the three apartments. The apartments were well designed, so that even though we were close to other guests our terrace felt very private. The grounds, views and pool were lovely and overall the holiday was very peaceful and relaxing. Severio and his father (who is on site) were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was immaculate and tastefully furnished. We used the sofa bed in the lounge for a 4th person and this wasn't ideal as the 'lounge' was really a wide corridor between the other rooms. Seating for 4 people was only possible either at the kitchen table or metal outdoor table and by the end of the week we were all missing a comfortable chair. For a self catering apartment I would have expected a few more basics - e.g. we had to buy toilet paper, salt/pepper.... However, we were left a very tasty hamper including wine, olive oil, fruit and pasta. Access to the pool (9am to 7.30pm) and HEATED jacuzzi (a couple of hours am/pm) were restricted and we would have liked to have come back at 8/9 pm and have a quick cool off in the pool or relax in the heated jacuzzi later at night. Overall, a very positive experience though. Kate and Andy, East London.
We decided to rent this house just a week before the date, and for our surprise Saverio answered us quite imediately. Our plans were to visit Polignano al Mare, the city where my grandmother was born, and everything was perfect and wonderful.
The house has great structure, which attended not only the adults but also my kids. They had the best holidays of their life, and we're planning a next time for sure.
Even for those who are planning a romantic stay in Italy, we recommend this house.
We stayed for a week in this beautiful stone cottage in Puglia near Martina Franca. It worked out really well. The property was spotless and beautifully done up with care taken over each and every detail. The grounds are amazing and many relaxing hours were spent by the pristine pool. The welcome by Saverio and his family was very nice and we really appreciated the fresh baskets of home-grown fruit and vegetables delivered to our door! The property is in an ideal location for exploring this fantastic region of Italy. Highly recommended!
We spent 2 weeks (8 to 22 August) in Casa dei Limoni. We are a couple with 2 daughters and are used to spend holidays in such "concept": a few appartments that share a swimming pool in nice places. It's probably the most beautiful and amazing one we've done till now!
The place is perfect, in the middle of Puglia and "valle d'Itria", just nearby Locorontondo, Cisternino, Ostuni... Then you want to go to the sea/beach? No problem, 25 km from the Ionian Sea or th Adriatic sea!
The Casa dei Limoni itself is very nice: large terrace, well equiped (hair dryer, games, bbq, umbrella!...), you can also take a bike just to get lost in the countryside to look at Trulli... and then have a jacuzzi!
The domain itself is very very nice: large garden, garnishment and interior decoration are very meticulous.
Then, this very good feedback is also, of course, due to the warm welcome from Antonella and Saverio... They are very nice and try to give you the best way/ideas/address to enjoy your stay there.
Last thing, Il Borgo delle Querce is more beautiful in reality than on the website pictures! We strongly recommand this address.

We have just returned from Casa dei Limoni and this was the best holiday we have ever had. This is a fantastic, beautiful and unique villa in a superb setting - quiet and elegant. The villa was absolutely spotless in show room condition, in a great location and surrounded by gardens, olive groves and orchards - all belonging to the property -you can pick as much as you want - figs, apricots and peaches ! The pool and whirlpool were absolute bliss - the pool is in a totally private and quiet garden spot - absolutely beautiful and first class including loungers and umbrellas.
The attention to detail is superb right down to the welcome bottle of wine and basket of fresh fruit. Saverio and Antonella were the perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble and they were so kind, thoughful and sincere.
Local maps, free mountain bikes, information on restaurants, supermarkets, beaches, shops, markets, towns, sat TV, CD, fully equipped kitchen, great BBQ, sunloungers and umbrellas, - everything was ready and waiting. Even a shady car port for out Fiat 500 - all absolutely superb.
This is Puglia at its best with all the atmosphere, luxury, peace and hospitality you could ask for - we really didnt want to leave.
Casa dei Limoni is a short, gentle hour's drive from Brindisi and minutes from Martina Franca - a great location all round especially for the pristine beaches both north and south and the white cities.
We recommend this 110% - dont miss it !
In the surroundings you can admire the characteristic Itria valley landscape, the towns of Martina Franca and Locorotondo, the trulli of Alberobello, the caves of Castellana, the white town of Ostuni, the mysterious Castel del Monte, Matera with its fascinating rocks, the manor farms, the rock churches and many other secrets to be discovered. The special location of Martina Franca between two seas, the Adriatic sea and Ionic sea, allows you to reach the most beautiful Mediterranean beaches with a few minutes’ drive. You can enjoy yourself choosing one of the two seas, according to the direction of the wind, so as to enjoy a pleasurable and wonderful sea all the time.
You may enjoy yourself discovering various scents and flavours of Apulian tradition, tasting local wine, olive oil, dairy products and other delicacies.
