Matt and Celeste Jarvis have a special place in their hearts for St. Croix. The couple met there, were married there and hope to retire there. Celeste grew up on the St. Croix and the beauty and wonder of the island lead to her becoming an environmental scientist. When on island, Matt is an artist specializing in island landscapes and Celeste supports environmental sustainability of the island ecology.

Why Celeste and Matt Jarvis chose Grapetree
East End Overlook is special to the couple. Celeste grew up just a down the hill on Grapetree Bay, where she spent her childhood exploring the natural beauty of the preserved Jack's and Issac's Bays. Matt and Celeste met on Grapetree Beach, were married in St. Patrick's Church, and held the reception in St. George's Botanical Gardens. When looking for property on St. Croix, sea, beach and mountain views were high on the priority list as well as continuous breezes. The couple's knowledge and love of the island helped them select the perfect place that any traveler will fall in love with.
What makes this House unique
East End Overlook is on the less populated east end of the island, close to the largest contiguous preserved land area on the island. Overlooking several spectacular beaches and close to local restaurants and resorts, travelers will never run out of new places to explore. Whether you enjoy ecotourism or luxury accommodations, East End Overlook will provide the ideal vacation.

A absolutely lovely home and wonderful owners!
The views are breath taking, the pool was cool and the house was lovely! We had a great stay! Thank you Celeste and Matt for everything!!!
Perfect place for our whole family!
From start to finish our stay was wonderful! I booked a family trip with my husband, kids, brother and parents and everyone was very pleased. Close to everything yet felt like we were secluded and private. With all the amenities and just gorgeous house it was a dream vacation we will always remember. Thanks to Matt and Celeste our stay was worry free and they even included a comfy pack and play for my 6month old baby which was just perfect.
Great views and wonderful hosts
Panoramic ocean views on both sides of the house. Nice pool and very nice outdoor Napoleon Grill. Property owners could not be nicer or more responsive.
Matt and Celeste are spectacular and super sweet. They helped with anything and everything. Even met us at the airport (where we found out we had to drive on the opposite side of the road) and then helped us find the house in the dark. The house is gorgeous and the views are out of this world. Seriously didn’t want to go home. No other beaches can compare to the ones on St. Croix. Visited so many beaches close by and went snorkeling at Buck Island (a must). Loved having dinner either at the beautiful home or at one of the amazing restaurants nearby (The Mill, America’s Cheeseburgers in Paradise). Got to feed the tarpon on the boardwalk too after eating in Christiansted! We got to admire Matt’s amazing art work on the boardwalk as well as in the home. We loved the atmosphere and how chill everyone was. Even enjoyed the free roaming chickens, haha. We loved lounging in the pool as each day had the perfect temperatures and then watching the stars from the deck was a bonus! Was so comfy and relaxing we even fell asleep out there a time or two. Definitely glad we spent our honeymoon here. Wouldn’t trade it for anything!
This home was a great get-away! Everything we needed!
We very much enjoyed out time in this home.
The perfect island home retreat!
The home was just perfect for our family! The views all around are stunning! We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, swimming in the pool, breakfast on the deck, and relaxing at the beach (maybe 5 min car ride). The house is well equipped down to the tiny details - like kids swim vest to extra batteries for remotes. We would definitely stay again. Our Hosts, Matt and Celeste, made us feel right at home on island. Extra tip - Matt is an excellent painter, we enjoyed seeing his art displayed around the home.
The Estate is situated near the most easterly point in the United States, the less populated East End. The waters around the East End are protected, and Nature Conservancy's Jack and Issac Bays are located here. Four distinct bays and the East End of Buck Island can be seen from the Estate.
