Edge farm is a 200 year old farmhouse and has been totally refurbished to a high standard providing modern well equipped accommodation which is ideal for large families or groups of walkers or friends.
South facing, Edge Farm boasts spectacular views, a lawned garden ,waterfall, covered pond, ample parking for up to six vehicles,and a large patio area with garden furniture.
The kitchen includes, American style fridge, freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, wine cooler and electric ceramic cooker. There is a separate utility room with a washer and tumble dryer, and downstairs toilet.
The large lounge has an ornate fireplace with wood burning stove, 50' TV, Freeview, video, DVD, Hi-Fi, internet access and WiFi. There is a separate dining room.
Upstairs on the first floor are 4 double bedrooms, and a house bathroom with shower / bath.Two of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, one has an en-suite shower room and the master bedroom has a bath / shower /jacuzzi.
Bedroom 5 is in the attic and has 4 single beds.

House was in a stunning location. Views were amazing and house was really well kitted out.
The house was ideal for our family get-together. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Access was a little complicated in the dark but the instructions we were given were pretty clear and helpful. The surrounding area was beautiful and we had a lovely walk in Pateley Bridge and another from the house. The bedrooms were spacious, although the ceiling in the attic bedroom is very low, so wasn’t ideal for our very tall son but he managed. Kitchen was a good size and well kitted out. Our only issue was that we didn’t have more time to spend in the area . Hopefully we will make it back someday

Superbly remote with great views!
Only place we, as a family,have stayed in with 4 double bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped.
The views are to die for with lovely leisurely walks. We were here just to relax and the house and surroundings helped us do just that.
The next door neighbours are lovely and so helpful. We had 5 little grandsons with us and they lent us some garden toys for the boys. Their dogs are super friendly. All in all probably the best weekend cottage away we’ve had.
Just don’t forget anything!! It’s a long trek back to Pately Bridge.
Just come back from this fantastic barn
This barn is absolutely amazing set in the beautiful countryside so peaceful the views are spectacular and we saw the moon rising in the evening just beautiful would highly recommend hope to return one day take your walking gear if you visit this barn as the walks are stunning

Perfect family party venue.
We had a fabulous family party weekend at Edge Farm. The setting has to be seen to be believed - words can't do it justice. The house is spotlessly clean and wonderfully well appointed, everything has been thought of. It is spacious enough for a big party to spread out and relax but feels nice and cosy at the same time. The bedrooms are lovely - comfy beds, good bathrooms, wonderful views. Love the window seats. The children loved sleeping in the attic room. We had amazing, unseasonably warm weather for November so enjoyed the garden and walking but we'd have been just as happy if we'd have been stuck indoors in front of the fire. One of our parties had a tricky time finding the turn off up to the farm house in the dark but they got there eventually. Apart from that, we had a perfect weekend. We even saw a shooting star! We'd love to come back for a longer stay next time.

Cosy modernised farmhouse in stunning setting
Beautifully restored and appointed farm house suited our group of two families perfectly. We enjoyed walking through the dales/moors and being able to revive in the great local pubs. It fit the bill perfectly. Mick was our knight in shining armour ensuring that we could leave very early on our day of departure to make our flights. Over and above the call of duty. Would love to return to enjoy Edge Farm again and would recommend without hesitation.
Beautiful house with stunning scenery. A fantastic place to get away from it all.
The house is very clean and comfortable with lots of special touches.
We took lots of extras as some places never have enough equipment for catering for a large party but we did not need anything. The owners have thought of everything.
Our party of 12 adults was easily accommodated without feeling cramped.
The weather wasn't too good but the wood burner kept us cosy and the stargazing at night is phenomenal!
Would love to visit again in the warmer weather.

Edge Farm (edgefarm.co.uk) is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in Nidderdale, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beautiful countryside is ideal for walking with the Nidderdale way right on our doorstep. Local places of interest include How Stean Gorge, (known locally as Little Switzerland), with its bridges, caves and gorge walks, Gouthwaite Reservoir is a sanctuary for rare bird species, also Brimham Rocks, Stump Cross Caverns, and the market town of Pateley Bridge are all worth a visit. Slightly further away in Masham visitors can tour the two famous breweries, (Black Sheep and Theakston), each with a visitor centre. The National Heritage site of Fountains Abbey , Bolton Abbey , Otley, Ilkley, the spa town of Harrogate, Skipton, Ripon and the historical city of York are all within easy driving distance.

Edge Farm (edgefarm.co.uk) is available for weekly bookings throughout the year. During the peak summer months, July and August, (£1750 per week),and Christmas and New Year,(£2200 per week) we accept weekly bookings only. Short breaks are available off season starting at £780 for a 3 night stay, either mid-week or weekends. A returnable security deposit of £125 is required. Arrival time is 4.00pm and leaving time is 10.00am.
