About the property

Lush gardens with sculptures and fruit trees. Quiet, cozy, family gatherings

4 bedroom, 3 bath private home

The 350 sq. ft. living room offers hand knotted gabbeh carpets, overstuffed cordovan leather sofas, a Steinway piano, a fireplace and 65' ultra HD 4k TV and a library containing over three hundred books from nursery rhymes to cookbooks to an extensive selection of Asian art.

The brand new fully appointed 200 sq. ft. kitchen has everything you'll need for your stay, including modern appliances, brand new gas range, Nespresso and Keurig coffee makers, Kitchenaid mixer, toaster, microwave, baking pans, juice centrifuge, large selection of spices, full formal table setting for 12 and more.

The air conditioned dining room gives to 90 degree view of the garden and seats 8.

The sun porch provides a reading and resting area as well as a work desk with Bluetooth printer. It's wall of picture windows looks out upon the tropical interior patio.

The 300 sq. ft. master bedroom has a private entrance from the patio and is adorned with Ralph Lauren sateen linens. It has a queen sized firm pillow top matress, a hand knotted silk rug, private bathroom with shower, air conditioning with personal thermostat, closet and chest of drawers.

This bedroom contains a queen sized bed, a private balcony that exits into the front garden, a television, an armoire, air conditioning and is decorated with my grandmother's collection of Japanese toys and many books on Asian culture. It is next to the main bathroom of the house with a shower.

This bedroom offers a closet, a bathroom with a shower, a queen sized bed, an air conditioner with personal thermostat.

This bedroom has a new Ikea couch that coverts into a queen bed, a television, a sink, many cabinets, and a private deck with a table and four chairs. It shares the bathroom with bedroom three.

The private patio has two charcoal BBQ's, a big hammock, a outside dining table with 8 chairs, a sitting area with 3 chairs and leads to the fire pit with 4 stools and the grape arbor with a large lounge chair beneath.

The pool is a 10 ft wide inflatable pool with a filter and is chlorinated. It's 3ft deep and is great for lounging in on the inflatable chairs or for the kids to splash in.

The private front garden offers a bench, 6 lounge chairs and two tables surrounded by lush tropical gardens, night time fairy lights and lively stone pathways.

This property is a magical wonderland to explore, play hide and seek in or have a scavenger hunt. I have created a list of the garden sculptures and special feature of the property to find. It is a place to relax and forget about the stresses of life.

About Maya Adams

My grandmother purchased this property in 1962. She was a divorced woman and no bank would give her a loan, but the man who inherited the property trusted her and carried the loan. She paid it off in 15 years. I grew up here but have lived much of my life on the east coast and in Europe. I've traveled the world and am very happy to return to my true home. I've spent the last year and a half fixing up the house and the gardens. It is a labor of love. I am so happy to share this paradise with others.

I love people of all kinds. I live to hear laughter in the front house. I live in a little cottage in the back.

The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of useful kitchenware and all the coffee a party of eight could need. The rest of the house displayed a charming collection of books and collectibles. A good place for our family gathering.

We had a great stay over thanksgiving. Ate dinner under the patio oak tree. House had a well equipped kitchen and dining room and comfortable living room with room for 8 to watch football. Maya was a gracious host.
