Converted from the original former rectory stables, Lenton is the larger of our two cottages. It has a vaulted roof in the lounge/dining area and large windows including French doors over looking the fields and stables. Lenton Cottage has one double room with a king sized bed and a second bedroom with a truckle bed. The truckle bed provides our guests with a double bed and a single bunk bed above. Lenton Cottage accommodates four/five people and is ideally suited for a couple, a young family or business people working in the local area.
Lenton Cottage is well equipped with a fully fitted kitchen including an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. There is a wet room with a sizable shower, WC and washbasin. All linen and towels are included. The cottage has WIFI access as well as TV and DVD player. An iron and ironing board are available. There is on-site parking available for one car per cottage. Please note: for one additional car, subject to availability and pre-arranged in advance, there is an additional charge on arrival.
The cottage shares a dedicated patio area and garden with Wheeler Cottage.
The Rectory Lacock is a Grade II listed Victorian building built in 1866. Sitting in 6 acres of private Wiltshire countryside, the Rectory is just a 2 minute leisurely walk from the heart of the medieval National Trust village of Lacock.
The two holiday cottages are in the grounds of the Rectory, where our guests have the privacy of their own dedicated patio area and a separate private garden, exclusively available to our cottage guests. Each cottage has two bedrooms and all of the facilities that our guests would expect to find in good quality self-catering accommodation.
The beautiful village of Lacock is a firm favourite for film and TV producers due to its notably picturesque streets and historic cottages, all unspoilt by modern alterations. The village has been used as a setting for Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Cranford and Harry Potter. Very recently, the village has been used for the filming the final Downton Abbey movie in Sep 2018.
The cottages are also ideally suited to people visiting the local area including Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat.
We offer a discount for 7 night bookings.
