The apartment is on 2 floors. Fist floor: entrance hall with closet. Small bathroom with toilet and a sink. Living room, dining room, kitchen. Second floor: Bathroom with shower and bath tube, washing/dryer machine. Bedroom one with a double bed, bedroom two with double bed, and a possibility to add one single bed. Bedroom three, small with a double sleeping sofa. Great for a couple.
The garden is big with a terrace and a barbecue.
Parking space in the driveway. 15 min walk to down town. Quiet and family friendly area. Not available for individuals under age 25, but families are welcome.

Peaceful and nice area. Klambratún the park is in front of the house with a nice museum Kjarvalsstaðir. It is a short walk to the swimming pool Sundhöllin (the swimming palace), to the Einar Jónsson art museum, to Hallgrímskirkja (The church of Hallgrímur) and to down town.

clean, spacious with an easy walk downtown!
The host was so kind to let us check in SUPER early from a red-eye flight. She met us on site to give us a walkthrough and was sure we didn't need anything else. She was pretty easy to get ahold of, considering it was a holiday weekend. Which was helpful, I would absolutely stay here again!

2 blocks away starts 101 the down town area.
Sundhöllinn the oldest swimming pool in Reykjavik is nearby with both indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis , newly renovated.
