First time I saw this property, I realized it was the perfect place for everybody wants to spend some days in Florence. The apartment is bright, calm and close to everything.
What makes this Apartment unique
It's quite unique to find in Florence an apartment with a balcony and a terrace where you can enjoy a view of Cathedral S. Maria del Fiore, the bell tower of Giotto and the Baptystery and the church of San Lorenzo.

Home away from home
Centrally located within walking distance of all the sights and sounds of Florence. A market just a few doors away allowed us to use the well equipped kitchen. Giovanni was welcoming and the apartment felt like home. From the lovely balcony off the bedroom to the rooftop terrace, the views provided a wonderful chance to wind down each evening. Pack light as everything homey is provided...and packing light means less to carry as you climb the stairs to the fourth floor apartment. A delightful experience and I am looking forward to being a guest again in the future!
Amazing apartment in perfect location
Top marks for everything about this superb apartment. Centrally located and views to die for. Equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing The balcony is a perfect place to escape the busy city and enjoy a glass of wine. We also can’t thank Giovanni enough for his prompt and clear communication from our initial booking through to our arrival. He provides lots of information for things to see and do and restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend you book his apartment for your Florence trip and we hope we get the opportunity to go back one day
Amazing View of Duomo & Campanile; thoughtful host
Excellent view of Duomo and Campanile from rooftop. Giovanni is an excellent host providing many amenities including equipment supplies for 3-4 ways to make coffee, including coffee, ample bathroom supplies, bottle of wine, comprehensive book of area including grocery and restaurant recommendations. Great shower. Would definitely stay here again if back in Florence. Apartment comes with a street-side balcony and private rooftop terrace.
Great week in September!
We had a truly wonderful week-long stay at this location. Giovanni was there to greet us, briefed us on everything we needed to know about the apartment, and answered all of our questions. The location is fantastic, and the apartment is spacious and has all the amenities one could need. We enjoyed the location’s central accessibility to everything, as well as being able to experience the area in the evenings.
We especially enjoyed the small balcony and the rooftop patio. The balcony was excellent for breakfasts and lunches, and the patio offered a tremendous night time view of the Duomo. The proximity of grocery stores and the Mercato Centrale made it easy to enjoy a few meals at home, which we like to do.
The bed was very comfortable, A/C worked great, as did the washing machine, which was nice to have.
The only caution we would offer any potential renters is the steep, narrow, lengthy staircase to the apartment. We had no problem with this, and we would return in a heartbeat. However, certain older individuals, or someone not in the best of health may find the climb a bit challenging.
Everything was exceptional. The terrace with a view of Duomo really made it a great experience. The amenities were excellent, as well as the welcoming gift of wine. Highly recommend it.
You should stay here!
This place was great and the host was so kind. He has folders and binders with restaurants and shop recommendations. He even found a bar for us which was showing American Football. He greeted us with a bottle of wine. We ate lunch on the balcony overlooking the Duomo most days. The steps are worth it. If you want to be in the heart of things, stay here!
If you like cooking, you will find everything you need in Mercato Centrale di San Lorenzo (central market), the main market for food, 100 mt from home. The market was built in the second half of the XIX century, at the time when Florence was capital of the nation. The market offers meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, cheese of the best qualities at cheap prices. It is the traditional market used by people living in the town. It is open only in the morning till two pm. If you prefer to do the shopping in a self-service minimarket, there are two great supermarkets right near by.
Close to the front door (to the left leaving the building) there is one of the most equipped cd-DVD shops in town (Alberti). And a TIM shop (mobile phone service).
Many restaurants and pizzerias are available nearby.
