Beautiful modern apartment at the beginning of the Castello quarter, Salizada San Lio. Extremely central- 2 minutes walk from Rialto and 10 minutes from San Mark Square, yet in a very Venetian area served by local shops, cafes and restaurants. By San Lio Church, and just off S.Maria Formosa and Santa Marina squares with their lively open air cafes. In S.Maria Formosa two Art Museums -Fondazione Querini Stampalia and Palazzo Grimani, and lots more art to discover in the area- Miracoli Church, SS. Giovanni e Paolo, San Zaccaria.
Facing the Salizada and with private street entrance, this apartment is in a house comprising 4 flats completely restored to extremely high standards in 2010.
These apartments are a perfect scene for a fantastic family or romantic holiday in the historic centre of the town. Maid service is available on request.

The Apartment was as described, great location
The Apartment was as described. Enjoyed the lift and Apartment facilities. We were met by Bruno at Rialto Stop and quickly introduced to all procedures. We found great places for coffee and food.
With the sun and the warm welcome of the owner ( who moved to lead us to our accommodation ) we started our stay.
After visiting the apartment, modern and clean, and the advice of our host, we could admire Venice and forth .
Perfectly located (center of Venice for tourist attractions , grocers nearby), the appartemet also allowed us to rest between each trip to discover Venice.
We can only recommend such housing in such a city !

Nicely renovated and very convenient
My daughter and I rented Apt 3 in the end of May 2015. It was exactly as depicted on the VRBO site - very nicely renovated inside in the hallways as well as the apartment itself (even though it is in a old building). It is surprisingly bright in the apartment even though there is no real view - all the windows look toward the walls of other buildings, but since it's the 3rd floor, lots of light comes in. There is a very useful (and unusual for Venice) lift to the 3rd floor. The beds were very comfortable and the Wifi and air conditioner worked very well (although since there is no AC vent in the bedroom, you must keep the bedroom door open throughout the night open if you want to keep cool air coming into the bedroom). The main bathroom was spacious and modern with an excellent shower. It was nice having the extra half bath in the small bedroom. The living room/kitchen is just one relatively small room with a couch in the kitchen - so there is no separate living area apart from the kitchen. This however was fine for us, as we were out of the apartment most of each day. The kitchen appliances were relatively new and perfectly fine for making small meals. When the stove had a problem one night, Marco had it fixed quickly. This apartment is perfect for a couple with one or two kids, but not really for a group much larger than that. For two couples, one will have a large master bedroom and the other a much smaller bedroom with a twin bed and a futon bed. The location is ideal - it really is about 2 minutes walk to Ponte Rialto and about 10 minutes to San Marco (provided you don't get too lost, which everyone inevitably does at some point.) There are a two fine Coop supermarkets near the apartment, and plenty of restaurants, gelaterie and shops on the neighboring streets.
Très bien placé, pratique et bien entretenu
Très agréable appartement Type 3 parfaitement placé à 2' du Rialto et son débarquadaire ( Vaporetto ligne 2 ) .
Super accueil par Bruno avec de bons conseils pour le séjour.
2 chambres agréables et plutôt calmes compte-tenu de l'hyper centralité ( Eglise San Lio ) avec supermarché et tous commerces en pied d'immeuble dont un gelatéria d'enfer !
Ascenseur petit mais très pratique. Equipement satisfaisant.
Déco agréable et mobilier fonctionnel, de bon goût.
1 salle d'eau WC + 1 WC avec lavabo dans la chambre des enfants.
Literie satisfaisante. Linge de bains en nombre et qualité satsifaisants aussi.
On a apprécié l'état gérénal très propre, le ménage de départ inclus, la remise de clef et la restitution de caution sans soucis. RDV à l'heure ce qui est appréciable. N'hésitez pas à appeler le loueur au Tel dès que vous arrivez sur Venise pour qu'il vous accueille au débarcadaire Rialto et vous guide à l'appartement à pieds en 2' valises en mains.
On apprécie enfin et surtout sa centralité car on a pu aller à pieds partout avec les enfants, du jardin de la biennale après l'Arsenal, à la fondation Pinault ou au Guggenheim du côté de la pointe de la douane, comme au Palazzio Grazzi.
La Place San Marco est à moins de 10' à pieds. Nous n'avons même pas eu à emprunter de vaporetto pendant nos 4 jours et pourtant avons visité tous les quartiers hors îles et Lido. C'est le gros plus de l'emplacement central, permettant de rentrer entre 2 ballades.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à Venise pour une prochaine Biennale et n'hésiterons pas à revenir dans l'un des appartements de cet immeubles ( Il y en a 3 ou 4 à priori ). Le notre était au 3ème et avant dernier étage.
On recommande sans retenue.

We stayed in Apartment 3.
Spacious and comfortable apartment. It is Lift access so that we don't have to carry our heavy luggage going up stairs.well equip kitchen and also a washing machine.
Located in between Rialto bridge and St. Marco square, very convenient location.
Pictures show here are exactly the same as the real apartment.
The apartment is in an ideal location within walking distance to all of the sights. The apartment was equiped with everything we needed and wanted for us and our two young children. The apartment was furnished with a high chair, cot and plastic cutlery.
The property was clean and well-maintained and the owner and staff provided excellent customer service.
We would definitely recommend this property to travellers with young children and even older children.
