Red Pine Condominiums is a large complex with approximately 24 buildings nestled below Utah’s newest and largest ski resort, The Canyons. Red Pine is located within walking distance to the Cabriolet (parking lot gondola) or you can catch the free shuttle from Red Pine to any of Park City’s resorts (Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort) all located within 3-4 miles. The free shuttle will also take you all around Park City’s historic downtown which provides excellent restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Red Pine is less than an hour from Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton, Snowbasin and Powder Mountain Resorts.
To enjoy Park City during the summer and fall months, activities include golf, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and the Park City Film Series.
Red Pine offers large common green areas, lots of pine trees, lots of parking and fantastic views. The Red Pine clubhouse has 2 swimming pools (1 heated in winter), a kiddie pool, hot tub, sauna, BBQs, sand volleyball and tennis courts.
This unit, with views of Iron Mountain, sleeps 6. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a queen-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom area is on the second floor over-looking the living room and has a king-sized bed. The loft has two twin beds. There are two full bathrooms complete with new, plush towels.
The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with new pots and pans, plenty of dishes and utensils as well as a crock pot, toaster and coffee maker. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a full size washer/dryer. The living room has a wood burning fireplace (wood included), comfy over-sized furniture, cable TV and free WiFi. There is a large balcony off the living room. Drop your skis and jackets inside the coat closet right when you open the front door. Plenty of additional closet space, including a pantry, throughout the unit.
Easy to find and easy to get to. Thirty minutes to/from SLC airport. Take 224 off Interstate 80 for 3-4 miles and make a right. Great location right in between tons of shopping and Main Street Park City. There is a 7-11 within walking distance.
No pets allowed in the complex.
I have been traveling to Park City for many years and have always enjoyed the easy access from SLC airport.

With 4000 acres right outside the front door, you cannot beat the location of Red Pine Condos. Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley are also just minutes away.
It's close to the gondola, so that was a big plus for us. But everything in the condo is very dated. The worst was the mattress that is so old that you feel like you sleep in a hammock . Also the upstairs bedroom is not really a bedroom but an open loft. So in addition that you hear every little sound it also gets very hot in there so we had to turn the heat off on the first floor to be able to sleep.
We stayed for 4 nights after NYE -- 5 in our family (2 adults and 3 kids). Lots of space in the condo -- the upstairs double loft bedrooms worked great for the kids. Only 5 minute walk to Cabriolet Gondola which quickly gets you within walking distance to base lifts at Canyons Village @ Park City Resort. < 2 block walk to pool / hot tube -- easy to access and in great shape for us to use. The owner was always quick to respond. Everything was smooth.
Nice layout, location, and amenities.
While the condo is dated, it is very well maintained and well stocked. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't available. The furnishings are on the newer side and comfortable, although the mattress in the master isn't the most comfortable. Having the washer and dryer is very convenient. It allowed us to pack less clothes. My only complaint is the lighting--all the bulbs seem to be at a very low wattage so even with all the lights on, the condo was still lowly lit. We had a small issue with getting access to the pool/hot tub but the owner fixed it in less than five minutes. As far as location the condo is one of the closest to the cabriolet lift and a short walk to the pool and hot tub.
Stayed 3 nights in early Feb 2017 which my family and had a wonderful time. The location is roughly a 5 minute walk to the gondola which takes you up to the Canyons base. The owner was great to work with and offered advice when asked. The pool/hot tub/sauna is one block up the road and is in great shape.
Highly recommended!
The Condo was comfortable and just as we expected. The lift to the lifts was close by as described and made getting to the mountain easy. If you are looking to stay at Canyons then this place is perfect.
