Mark Hancock purchased this condo in 2013
Fabulous skiing (Walk In/Out), Club Solitude with all the recreation in same building.
We loved being in Club Solitude building and have a corner unit with many large windows. Additionally, we loved the large great room and kitchen area. We have been looking for years and when this unique unit came available we moved quickly.
Our experience at Mark's condo was incredible! My family and I could not have been more impressed with the care he shows for the place and his guests, and he was very easy to communicate with. He was informative and responsive and it's easy to see the pride he takes in his condo. Everything was well stocked for cooking and entertainment, very clean, warm, and inviting. Compared to a lot of other ski condos or hotel rooms, this was so much more new, elegant, and modern! It is perfectly located; no need to go outside for the hot tub/pool, media rooms, and Club Solitude with a very short walk to the lifts. Skiing/snowboarding at Solitude cannot be beat with no lines or crowds, fresh snow, and fun runs. I would definitely recommend staying at Mark's condo!
Great space for our family of 5. Comfortable, nicely updated, great kitchen, everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
I have rented at Solitude for 5 years. Although I've never had a bad condo, but Mark's condo is head and shoulders above any other condo that I've rented. When we walked in, the first thing that we noted is that the condo doesn't look like a rental, but like the home of a friend that loaned their place to you -- the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is fabulous, and the family room is plush and comfortable. Due to snowfall, we cooked in the condo several nights, and the kitchen was well-appointed. Mark (the owner) is a pleasure to deal with and a responsive communicator. The next time we book for Solitude, Mark's condo is the first one that I'll try to get.
Charming, comfortable condo located right in the center of Solitude Village. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the video library for our children. I would highly recommend this condo for families. Mark was very accommodating and easy to work with.
The first step in every VRBO transaction is contacting the owner. Mark is knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions or concerns. If anything needs to be addressed on-site, he is local and can help out asap. Thanks Mark!
Everything about the condo is definitely top-notch! In the past I've rented from owners where the listed amenities were either inaccessible or in poor condition, but Mark's condo is NOT the case. The underground/heated garage was spacious for our rental Tahoe SUV and accessible by elevator. The locker rooms were located near the entrance/exit to the slopes. The lockers were large enough to store all my friends ski's/snowboards, so there were no leftover puddles on the floor of the condo. Pool/hot tub/game room is a quick elevator ride away and were all in like-new condition.
Besides the amenities, the condo itself is even more comfortable than the pictures. Great views and is a quick walk to the nearest lift is icing on the cake. You will not be disappointed!
Solitude is a wonderful place to spend a long weekend, and this condo is a wonderful place to stay at Solitude! Mark, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. The condo is beautifully decorated (either Mark is an interior designer or he should be!) and luxuriously appointed. The unit has every A/V device you could ask for--just make sure and bring a teenager along to figure them out! The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen brand-new and well-equipped (we cooked every meal in and wanted for nothing--but make sure and shop for groceries before you enter the canyon), and the living area a wonderful place to 'flop' after a long day of skiing. We really enjoyed 'Club Solitude,' conveniently located right downstairs--the hot tubs were large and lovely, and my son and husband had fun playing pool. Solitude is a great little resort--this architecture critic appreciated the layout of the village and quality construction--plenty of terrain to explore, and ZERO lift lines (even on MLK weekend) and ZERO 'frustration factor.' If you're going to Solitude, I highly recommend this unit!
