Nice and Cozy apartment on the beach

We were met by Charo who despite her limited English and our limited Spanish explained everything to us and showed us everything that we could possibly need. The apartment was so clean and comfortable, we enjoyed staying there, we had a lot of our meals on the balcony or ate out at the many good restaurants. One bar/restaurant we really liked was Maison A Lua - 5 minutes away on the Avenida de Vina opposite the Argentina steak restaurant. The town is 10 minutes walk away along the beach path and we also liked Cee which was a short drive or a longer (just over half hour) walk away. Great supermarket complex in Cee and several other large supermarkets on the road out of Cee. Two small supermarkets in Corcubion with all basic supplies and a beautiful beach to sunbathe or swim. We have enjoyed watching the boats coming and going from the balcony and at night the flames from the steelworks right across the bay.

There are so many places nearby worth a visit including Santiago de Compostela and A Coruna and for smaller places Muros and of course Finisterre. We were unable to use the Internet with our UK technology, Elena came out to try to get it working, it worked on her equipment, it may have been just our older phones and tablets. We were lucky and were there for two fiestas, the Carmen fiesta with the flotilla of boats dressed up with palms and flowers and then on our last day the Mediaeval Market which was amazing. Most of the locals, including the children, and all of the market people had dressed in mediaeval clothing and the colours and smells of the food were wonderful, there were musicians, jugglers and magicians in the streets. What a holiday, it couldn't have been better.
