LOOK AT THE AMAZING VIEW! Enjoy this tropical paradise that is direct oceanfront! You can lay in bed and see and hear the ocean. This unit is newly renovated and OWNER OPERATED. Located at the Sand Dunes Resort on Myrtle Beach's Golden Mile (74th Avenue North), Unit 232 on the second floor will become your new-found paradise. Have coffee or drinks on the balcony overlooking the beach, ocean and patio; relax in bed while listening to the waves; or sit at the table to eat or watch the action on the beach. Enjoy the luxury of new furniture, tiling, an upgraded 51' flat screen TV, new beds, and high-end linens.

In the kitchen area, there is a 2 burner ceramic cooktop, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, and all the pots, pans, dinnerware and glassware you need. There is a toaster, blender (for those frosty drinks), ice bucket and Keurig coffee maker.

Head to the beach with the beach chairs and umbrella provided to you at no extra cost (or rent chairs and umbrellas if you prefer).

All you should need is your food and your clothes! Many extras are provided with the condo! We provide bed linens and comforters, towels (bath and kitchen towels), iron and ironing board, a get-started supply of dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, bath tissue - even shampoo, conditioner and soap!

There are tons of restaurants, bars nearby, as well as grocery stores (and the liquor store) close by. Nearly outside the door is River City Cafe, home to some of the best burgers in MB (one of our favorites!). Next door at Long Bay is a Starbucks and a fabulous place for dinner, Martin’s.

Outside of the resort lies a thousand things to do - many restaurants, miniature golf, boating, fishing from a nearby pier, golfing at gajillions of golf courses, shopping (yes, there are outlet malls very close!), and looking for shells and shark teeth (my son's favorite thing to do!). Most everything is a less than 15 minute walk or drive and US 17 is only 2 blocks away. The airport is less than 10 miles away too!

So come enjoy a piece of heaven. Wake up to amazing sunrises and go to sleep with the sounds of the ocean.

Our unit is NOT on the Sand Dunes rental program, which means the Sand Dunes Water Park IS EXCLUDED for our guests; however, there are several other pools onsite (outdoor pool, indoor pool, lazy river, spas, etc.) that are available for guest use. And hey, you're at the beach! If you want a REAL water park, there is the best in Myrtle Beach a couple of miles away! Your rental includes only the amenities paid for by the Homeowners Association.

Daily maid service is NOT provided.

You must be at least 25 years old to rent this unit. Proof of Age required.

No Pets Allowed

No Smoking Allowed in the unit or on the balcony - The $200 deposit will be retained if smoking in the unit or balcony occurs.

Why Angie Gowan chose Grand Strand - Myrtle Beach Area

My husband and I have been coming to Myrtle Beach together ever since we were dating (we'll be married 20 years this year!). We visited the Sand Dunes every year and loved the fabulous location, the activities, the restaurants, the beach - everything! We bought our first unit in 2005 and renovated that unit (on the 10th floor) in 2012. We loved it so much that we knew we wanted to buy another one on a lower floor. When we walked into Unit 232 and saw the view, we knew this was our new 'home.' With a lot of love, we renovated and added all the touches to make it a tropical oasis that has all the comforts of home. Look at the pictures of the sunrises and sunsets and you'll see why it's just perfect!

What makes this condo unique

We love the Sand Dunes because of the amenities the resort has, the location of the condo (central to everything, but in a family location), and the activities. You have so many restaurants, stores and activities right within a mile or two. In many cases, you don't have to leave the resort! We also love the fact that we are halfay between Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing! it's great to have these two entertainment complexes so near. And finally, it's a gift to wake up in the morning, take a cup of coffee out to the balcony, and watch the dolphins swim -- or walk along the beach and find the perfect shell - or enjoy a glass of wine sitting on the balcony or beach and listening to the waves.

We had a wonderful stay . The room was very well equipped , right down to the chairs and umbrella for the beach. The view was amazing and the sunrises were gorgeous. We really enjoyed the balcony and had breakfast and coffee there every morning, and relaxed to the sound of the ocean every night. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you !

Respite from the Storm

My husband and I rented Oceans Edge at the Sand Dunes Resort while visiting Myrtle Beach over the Labor Day weekend. We arrived Friday during Hurricane Hermine. When we opened the door to the condo unit and found a warm and welcoming respite from the storm, we could not have been more grateful to finally reach our destination! The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, exactly as shown in the listing photos. The condo is steps from the beach, with a nice balcony (and seating) that provided a direct view of the ocean and beautiful sunrises after the rain. The kitchen was well equipped, although we did not use it, and instead, enjoyed the wonderful restaurants of Myrtle Beach. (Captain George's Seafood Restaurant, located directly across from Broadway at the Beach, was excellent!) We could not have been more pleased with our getaway weekend to Myrtle Beach. Thank you, Angie, for allowing us the use of your beautiful property!

A Most Relaxing time.

Very fun and colorfully decorated. The view and access to the beach was great. Really appreciated the use of the beach chairs and umbrella. Last evening had fun time and great food at the River City Cafe. The food and service were great. Look forward to our next visit. The owner, Angela was very friendly and helpful with any and all questions. Would highly recommend the property to anyone. The property was conveniently located also.

The unit was clean and beautiful. Overall great. Could use more luggage carts.

My best friend and I came to get some much needed R&R and that's exactly what we accomplished. We are both caregivers for our mothers and can't describe the peace and tranquility we experienced from the view we had. I loved having a clean room and the decor is beautiful as well. We did try a burger from River Cafe as suggested and it was one of the best I've ever had. I would definitely book thru you guys again. You made things very simple. I liked being able to go straight to the unit. Anything we needed was very close by. The downside is that it didn't last long enough.

The room was great, home away from home!

The property lacked adequate parking especially for handicap. The halls & elevator lack air conditioning which was difficult when standing at elevators waiting for some time. Lack of carts to haul luggage & personal items, there were only 2 for the entire property & they could never be found.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your feedback. It's much appreciated and I'm glad you enjoyed the room. Regarding the parking, there are many parking options; however, everyone wants a parking spot right up front (which you can imagine is challenging). There are two garages, and parking spots around all of the buildings, but most will not want to park anywhere but up front. Regarding the handicapped parking, it's a legal requirement as to how many spaces are handicapped based on the total number of parking spaces, but I agree it's unfortunate that all of those spots were taken and you were unable to use. Regarding the air conditioning, the elevators are in between the pool area doors and the entrance, so with people coming in and out constantly, I can see how it would be warm. There are actually about 6 luggage cards (unless some have gone missing during the season), but yes, these can be challenging to get during peak check-in and check-out. This was one reason we suggested to have bellmen during the season. Of course, that will still not assist when the carts are taken, which is one reason we don't highlight this as an amenity for our condos.
