We spent a lovely week here in August 2013. The apartment is as described - clean and well equiped, and the roof terrace with its view out to sea is a real highlight. The location is perfect - less than 10 minutes walk to the restaurants and castle at the top of the village, and about the same distance walking in the other direction to the new town where the shops are. The old village itself is very picturesque and peaceful - it's the perfect location to relax and do very little.
The only negative about the apartment would be that the access to the roof terrace is via a narrow staircase that some people may have trouble with (e.g, children, elderly, or larger people), though we had no issues.
We found the manager Willie-Maria to be very accommodating, e.g. allowing us to leave early on the day of check out so we could catch a flight, and was generally very helpful in all communication. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

The hill top village of Haut de Cagnes is the old and historic part of Cagnes-sur-Mer, a seaside town and former fishing village between Nice Airport and Antibes. While Haut de Cagnes is almost untouched by modern life, Cagnes-sur-Mer has everything you need, including one of the best-covered Provencal markets of the Côte d´Azur. Also, from Cagnes-sur-Mer, you easily reach Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Grasse and St Paul de Vence via a network of local buses (1,50 euros) and trains. The beach is a 5 min car or bus ride away. On the other side of the village, the snow-clad Provencal mountains are within easy reach. The area is also full of museums, galleries and wonderful restaurants (one with a Guide Michelin Star). Visitors often find Haut de Cagnes a magical place, full of ambiance and history!
