Two Sisters, established in 1847, has character, privacy and elegance which makes it a choice accommodation for Finger Lakes visitors. Located above Seneca Lake with private lake access within walking distance of the house, this beautiful vacation home is located in the heart of wine country! A short two minute drive will bring you to the famous Glenora Winery and Vineyards, and less than a half hour drive to the tourist towns of Watkins Glen or Geneva.

Two Sisters offers sleeping accommodations ideal for couples and families alike, and plenty of living space for the entire group to enjoy! It's a great family reunion house, with 4 queen size bedrooms and 2 single rooms for children.

A long circular drive leads up to the house and side entrance to the kitchen. A small foyer gives way to an open sitting area, with a laundry room concealed by double closets and a spacious country kitchen. Plenty of cabinet and counter space allows for large meals to be prepared or banquet style dining, whichever the guest prefers. A small staircase leads to the second floor and most of the home’s bedrooms. A small deck off the kitchen offers a barbecue for grilling meals, a small outdoor patio set for enjoying breakfast or coffee and lounge chairs for sunning in the afternoons.

Just off the kitchen is a large formal dining room, with immaculate hardwood floors and a dining table that seats eight comfortably. There is a small bedroom with a single size sleeper sofa on the north side of the dining area next to the main entry. An oversized living room in the front of the home offers abundant, quality furnishings, is overlooking the lake and covered porch, and yes, has a romantic fireplace that can be used during the colder months! A small half bath sits to the south of the living room, and a small alcove leads to the covered porch, where guests can enjoy the lake view and read a book in the shade during the hot summer months.

The staircase off the main entrance leads to the spacious second floor sleeping accommodations. At the top of the stairs to the left is a large bedroom with Queen size bed, spacious closet, and a nice lake view. To the right is another bedroom with a limited lake view, Queen size bed, and double closets. This bedroom has direct access to a full bathroom with shower, which also has a door leading into the back hall. Across from the staircase is a third bedroom, with Queen size bed, lake view, and small closet. A second full bathroom with separate shower/tub combo is located next to the third bedroom and is accessed off the hallway.

The rear of the second floor can be closed off from the other bedrooms and baths via a lockable door, compliments of the B&B history. There is also a separate staircase, accessed from the sitting area off the kitchen on the first floor. At the top of this staircase is a small bedroom to the right with a single bed. Across the hall is a queen bedroom with a closet that overlooks the back yard and woods. Both bedrooms share a small, full bathroom with shower.

The sprawling lawn that surrounds the house is ideal for children, outdoor games, and for enjoying the summer sun, and now has a firepit with great views of the lake! To access the private lakefront, guests can either drive or walk down the street about 200-300 feet from the house on a seasonal driveway. There is parking for 1-2 cars (depending on vehicle size) at the lakefront property, just above the stairs that lead to the beach. A permanent dock is available for swimming, sun bathing, fishing, or mooring a boat, a kayak & paddleboard is provided for guests’ enjoyment.

Two Sisters is centrally located on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Within a five minute drive to Fulkerson Winery and Starkey’s Lookout (where guests can enjoy local brews and wines, as well as a limited restaurant menu and periodic live music year round). Glenora Winery is at the end of the street, and a grocery store and gas station are located in Dundee (roughly 4 miles from the home).
