Beautiful 5 Br, 5.5 Ba Ocean View House
The Sandbar II Beach House built in 2013 is a pet-friendly weekly rental property that rents from Saturday to Saturday in-season. This delightful, spacious rental home offers classic beach charm, lots of space and is nestled in the heart of Nags Head at the 10.5 milepost, conveniently positioned between two beach accesses. With five bedrooms and five and a half baths, this three level house sleeps up to seventeen guests.
The house is fully dressed with linens-sheets, towels, and toilette paper. There's games, pool toys, a gas grill and beach chairs. The house is air conditioned and includes cable television, a private pool with the option to have heated, a hot tub and recreation room with kitchenette on the ground floor near the pool and a laundry room fully equipped with washer, dryer, ironing board, and iron. A high chair and pack n' play crib are also available for guest use.
The beach is about 300 yards away, a four minute walk across the Beach Road and over the sand dunes to the water line. The house is within easy walking distance to five local restaurants, art galleries and unique gift shops. Grocery store is just block away. Area attractions are just a short drive away.
First floor has game room with a pool table, ping pong, kitchenette, darts, full bathroom, TV w DVD, access to pool, grill, laundry room and a bedroom with 2 singles, 1 double bed and a sleeper sofa.
Second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 queens with private bath and 2 doubles with sleeper sofa and private bath.
The third floor has a Master Bedroom with private bath and jacuzzi tub, fully equipped kitchen, full island, half bath, spacious dining area, great room with TV, DVD, stereo, access to the hot tub and spectacular ocean views from top deck.
Pool can be heated. Pool heating fee is $150 per week in-season (April - May, September-October).

About Andy McVearry
I manage the Sandbar Beach House for the owner, Michael McVearry. He lives in the bed and breakfast in front of this house, though I do not. I've lived on the Outer Banks for many years and have made my living in the service industry my entire life. Because of this, I am able to offer guests a wealth of information about the area. I think of the Sandbar as a home away from home for our guests. I look forward to hearing from you!

Ocean View 5 Br, 5.5 Ba house, pet friendly, located in the hearth of Nags Head. Approx 300 yard walk to the beach, only the third lot back from the beach. Very close to Jockey's Ridge, Wright Brothers Memorial, excellent shopping and restaurants.

other than the weather being cold we had a great time and everybody had enough space ,we will rent this place again in the future.

our families united for a wedding near Nags head. great house and location for a great stay. No surprises and owner was great to work with.

The pictures on the web site are very deceiving. Although we had a great time in Nags Head this house is in major need of repairs. Most of the faucets are loose on the sinks, the coffee pot is old and burner is worn out, the pans seem to be originals. The coffee cups had to be washed before use, the linens are very old as well as the beds. There was candy under the beds and they had not been swept under for quite some time (very dusty). The dryer obviously was not vented as there was dust flying all over when you used it. The house had 2 brooms that looked to be about 10 yrs old. The door knobs were also loose and the basement sliding door and no handle or lock (pvc pipe in door for lock). No one came to clean the pool the week we were visiting. The pool area is very weedy and overgrown. This could be a very nice place with a little love and care.

Our house was built in 2013 so everything in pretty new.
If you have had emailed us while staying at the house, we would have fix those minor repairs right away so that you could enjoy your stay!
Faucets and other things were fixed right away after your departure.

Additional information about rental rates
When our cleaning crew is all finished they'll leave the house open for you and the keys will be on the 3rd floor kitchen counter. We'll also leave some chlorine tabs for the hot tub on the kitchen counter, add one to the intake every two days if you plan to use it regularly, if not, don't even worry about it. There are NO PARTIES aloud in the house at any time. This is a family rental only, parents, grandparents, children and extended family members. Tenant and family will be sole occupants of the property. No fraternities, high school or college student groups, unmarried young adults, civic groups or other non-family groups aloud. ID's must be furnished upon request. Violation for the above stipulation is cause for immediate eviction without refund of rent paid. NO EXCEPTIONS. The undersigned Tenant represents self to be an adult 21 years or older. Owner rents properrty without respect to race, color, religion, sex, handicap or familial status of tenant.
