My name is Steve. I grew up in Galesville WI. I Currently reside in Green Bay. I am an avid fisherman and outdoors-man. I love going up to my cottage on Lake Nokomis. It is my home away from home. I am a Green Bay Packers fan and always will be. I am a proud christian.
Steve purchased this cottage in 2000
I purchased this property because I love the area and the lake. There are so many things to do and don't have to look very far to see deer, eagles, and other wildlife. The fishing is outstanding. There are three great restaurants very close by as well as the Windmill Ice Cream Shop.
Travelers can catch fish right off the dock with little fishing experience. The cottage is only a few feet from the beach.
We spend the week at this beautiful, peaceful cottage. Everything you need and extras such as spices, toilet paper, bugs sprays etc... Didn't enjoy lake (very clean) due to cold weather, had spectacular 4th fireworks on lake, visit couple cities around, enjoyed food at places Steve recommended. Very nice, clean cottage where you can relax and enjoy time with your family. I highly recommend this and thank Steve for sharing it with us.
Wonderful cabin and location. Stay cut short due to death in family, but enjoyed the time we had there. Cabin was formally part of resort I stayed in beginning as a child in the 1960's and last staying in 2003. Lake Nokomis has always been a special place for me. This was the first time I traveled there in the fall, but it was beautiful as ever. Lake level was a bit low, but still plenty of areas for fishing. The owner (Steve) was very accommodating and helpful with any questions.Look forward to a return trip. Took along another couple and they immediately decided they would like to come back too.
Once per week in the summer months the city of Tomahawk puts on a nice water ski show.
