Nice cottage in a great location
The location is awesome. Walking distance to lots of great food and very close to downtown. Was great for dogs with a fenced in front and back yard and a dog park a couple miles away. Inside has been redone with nice touches. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in the home. The only thing that could have been better was more comfortable furniture in the living room, but it wasn't a huge deal for us.
Great location, great little cottage.
We loved our stay here. The cottage was in a great location, very clean, nicely decorated, and the hot tub was great to have after hiking and snowboarding. Didn't hurt that there were two brewpubs across the street either! If we ever get the chance to come back to Bend, we would definitely love to stay here again.
Great Location and Great Little House
This is our third time staying at the Westside Cottage and it was comfortable, clean, and homey. (Just like every other stay). Easy drive to Bachelor (less than 30 min), great hot tub, and walking distance to several breweries and restaurants. Try Kanona across the street. Great coffee, smoothies, and bowls. Thanks again Westside we’ll be back!
Great location for Mountain and Downtown Access
Great little cozy cabin. Clean and updated. The private hot tub really hit the spot after a long day on Mt. Bachelor.
The owner was very responsive with a few inquiries that I had. The keypad lock is SUPER convenient. We will stay there again, given the opportunity to come back!!
Great House. Great Location
Place was great for a 4 person family. Close to shops and places to eat. Very clean.
Great place for our couples getaway!
We had a great time in this cute little place! It was so nice to be within walking distance of good food and drink. The house may be small but we had all the comforts of home while we were here and the hot tub was amazing!
The Galveston Avenue District is the new hot spot in Bend. Located just one block back from the Deschutes River, this shopping and dining corridor marks the most recently revitalized area of west side Bend. Galveston avenue boasts of everything from breweries (Sunriver Brewing, 10 Barrel Brew Co, and Brother Jon’s are all within one block of one another), breakfast spots, bakeries, fine dining, juice bars, doughnut shops, bike rentals, The Lot food truck court, real New York style pizza joint, and even Hawaiian shaved ice all right there within four blocks.
Right close is Drake Park along the Deschutes River, a must see when visiting Bend. This popular downtown community gathering place hosts many events throughout the spring, summer and fall, including the District’s Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration. The park features nearly a half mile of riverfront, 13 acres of open lawn, an outdoor stage, restrooms and small picnic tables. Drake Park is home to Great Horned Owls who are actively nesting with their owlets in the spring season, so bring your binoculars! This section of the river is also the put out place for the Deschutes River Float. During the summer months, a shuttle runs from this location to The Old Mill District so you can bring your inner tubes, float all the way down the river from there, right back to this location, then walk back to your vacation home!
