This unique 3 bedroom duplex penthouse is located in one of the most valuable and trendy areas in Sevilla: Calle Luis Montoto, 3 - Plaza de San Agustín. This area of Sevilla is part of the historical centre of the city. All of Seville’s well known monuments and most of the major attractions can be easily accessed on foot.
The apartment is a recently renovated (February 2010) and completely refurbished three-bedroom penthouse. It includes a large, furnished terrace with beautiful views. The unit is part of an exclusive house designed by renowned architect Anibal González, the signature unit behind the Plaza de España complex. Situated on the edge of the ancient historical downtown, most of the 'must-see' monuments are within a 10 minute walk.
La Casa de Pilatos, an outstanding 16th century palace, is located within 5 minutes. In less than 10 minutes, you can walk to the Giralda, the Cathedral, the Royal Alcazar, and El Barrio de Santa Cruz. The gardens, patios, and enchanting streets will make the visit absolutely worth it. In only 15-20 minutes from the apartment, the Guadalquivir river, the Torre del Oro, the popular and yet exclusive Triana neighborhood, and the Maestranza bullring are also easily accessible.
The main shopping areas, the best known Sevilla restaurants, many flamenco show taverns, and authentic tapas bars are also close by. This apartment is centrally located to the Alfalfa square, the commercial streets of Tetuán, Sierpes and Cuna, which are all within minutes of each other.
The apartment is decorated in a modern style and furnished with comfortable and functional pieces. The apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms (6 guests), one large living room with sofa-bed for 2 additional guests, and one extra fold-able bed for 1 more guest if needed, a dining room, and two and a half bathrooms (fully equipped). In addition, the apartment has its own private terrace (provided with garden furniture) which is easily accessible from the lounge area. From the terrace, the amazing sights of the Giralda and many other churches, monasteries, and ancient palaces within the historical city centre can be gazed upon.
Quality WiFi, Cable TV, brand new AC system in each room, and free phone calls nationwide are included in the rent. All utilities are also included.
The apartment is fully cleaned at changeover, but added cleaning or linen washing can be arranged on demand.
On arrival, owner will meet travellers, handle keys, and explain how everything works, as well as general overview of local amenities, places to visit, shopping areas, and other useful recommendations.

Great apartment with a great terrace
The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. We wanted for nothing. Jose checked on us once (we stayed 10 days) and we had no issues. It is conveniently located to everything. The apartment is on several levels which offers a lot of privacy (and some steps.)
The terrace was very large with a lot of seating and nice greenery.
Loved this home!
My husband and I were traveling with 3 older girls. We had plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Loved the outdoor terrace. The location is great. We could walk everywhere. We parked our car with the kind help of our host and left it there. It is so nice to have the comforts of home vs. a hotel. I would love to return.
Nice owner but the apartment is very tired
The apartment is on a very busy and very dirty street in Seville (which is a beautiful city with many wonderful options for your stay). I chose this property because it was close to most of the attractions (true, Seville is a small town and you can walk to most of the attractions), because it has AC and because it was a washer and drier. and based on the raving review. The rooms and bathrooms were really, really tired and sad. Clearly, a VERY GOOD professional photographer was hired to take some really amazing pictures of a dumpy apartment. Manuel was very nice and quick to respond to all my questions, but I feel really duped and after looking around at other options (we stayed an extra day in Sevilla at a different location) know that you can get a much nicer, charming place for much less money.
Thanks So Yong, for the reference to Manuel (me, the owner), but I must say that you are far from being accurate when describing the apartment and the street it is at. As all previous guests agree on (all reviews easily accesible), the apartment is maintained in pristine condition and location is superb. Some former guests even mention that in fact the apartment is much nicer and cozier than what pictures show. We both well know what the reason for your negative review is, and ´d like all readers to know about it. This is what really happened: You booking was set and confirmed for June 20 to 22. On June 20, late at night, after we had been waiting for hours, you communicated that you had made an error on booking dates and that you were arriving one day later. You also asked if you could stay one extra night in the apartment. I answered that we wished we could, but that was not a possibility, since we had another reservation confirmed for June 22. It goes without saying that should the apartment be available on that extra day you would be offered it for free. Instead, we offered one free night for any other future visit to Sevilla for you or for any of your relatives or friends. You did not accept and asked for a refund. As I see it, everybody will agree on how very inappropriate of you was not to inform that you were not checking in on June 20, and how unreasonable it will probably seem to anyone that you tried to extend your stay for one more night when the apartment was not available. Frustration after making mistakes should not substantiate in false information and be an incentive for not committing the same error once again. Hope my comment will help future guests to make a more balanced opinion of the situation. Jose Manuel.
My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful penthouse apartment during our stay in Seville. It's very spacious, tastefully decorated, and located in a nice part of the city. The highlight for us was relaxing on the top floor patio/deck of the apartment. It's an excellent way to chill out after hours of touring the city.
Thanks to José (and VRBO), the booking and check-in process were a breeze. José was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this property while visiting Seville.
Wonderful stay, great apartment!
My date of arrival escapes me now but my family and friends and I rented this apartment during the Feria de Abril 2015. Jose and his wife were excellent hosts, supplied us with two caseta passes and the apartment was spacious for our group of three adults and two teenagers. We LOVED the terrace and proximity to Barrio de Santa Cruz. We will be back...currently planning our 2016 trip! Thank you, Jose Manuel!
I have recently returned from a three week stay in this wonderful flat. I was joined by three groups of friends during my stay and we all agreed that the flat was perfect for our needs.
The flat is spacious and, because it is effectively on four floors, there are plenty of opportunities for privacy. The main living area on the top floor, is large, comfortable and beautifully light. It leads on to a splendid roof terrace which is in the sun throughout the day. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace and watching the sun set in the evening. The proximity of some trees, gives a feeling of being in a tree house!
The flat is extremely well equipped; we even found a "fiesta kit"! It was spotless on our arrival and Jose Manuel, the owner, arranged for it to be cleaned mid-way through our stay. The beds are comfortable and the linen of good quality.
We all thought the flat was extremely well located. It is only a matter of crossing the road and you are in the older part of the city. The main train station is only 10 minutes' walk away and there are many excellent bars, restaurants, shops (including late opening supermarkets) and banks less than five minutes away.
Jose Manuel is a gracious host. He is hospitable, friendly and exceptionally helpful. I would recommend the flat without hesitation to other friends and members of my family.
