There are two bedrooms on this level, each with a king bed. The master bedroom also has an adjoining full bathroom. There is another full bathroom conveniently located in the hall as well. Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The house was as pictured and advertised. 1 block away from the beach.
This house is in need of some basic maintenance. The downstairs bathtub was very slow. The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom was falling off. The master bathroom had sand on the floor. The only spoons were long teaspoons and the kitchen just wasn't really stocked to cook in. It has lots of plates, very few cups and glasses.
Great location but not "comfy". Felt like I needed to sanitize everything before using it. As the Mom, I got those duties, but I'm sure my kids would say it was great. Everything "appeared" clean, but there was debri on the dishes and cups leading me to believe the dishwasher wasn't effective. The clothes washer didn't drain properly leaving everything sopping wet requiring extra spin cycles so I didn't feel like our sheets, pillow cases and towels could possibly be cleaned in the short window between guest. The coffee maker required more sanitizing than I was willing to give so just hit Starbucks instead. The hot tub lid snaps were all broken (why have a key??) and sitting on front patio so accessible to anyone walking by.
Little things were broken throughout...microwave door, grill lid, sliding glass door lock. Notified Vacasa when we got there so we wouldn't be held accountable, but after discovering all of the other issues, I'd have to think Vacasa already knows but hasn't followed up to make sure their local rep is taking care of things.
This is the first Vacasa house we've stayed in with this low of an experience. It is way over-priced even for its location as it feels like a rundown hotel. It's also the first Vacasa house we will not be recommending to friends.
We had a wonderful time with our family in Lincoln City. The house we rented was perfect for us and in a perfect location. Lots of fun playing on the Beach, Golfing and shopping! We will most definitely be back!????
The Johnson Clan 2016
My wife and I were visiting Lincoln City for a family reunion, so we shared the house with our 2 children and their significant others and a nephew and his wife. On arrival, the upstairs was about 85 degrees and we could not get the AC to work, although the bottom floor was chilly. The grill in the garage was disgusting, caked with grease and with a grilled 1/2 onion on it. It looked like it had not been cleaned in years. So we never had a BBQ meal as we hoped. We were not able to use most of the appliances (for example; broken handle on microwave, broken crockpot) and amenities (hot tub/grill, dirty dishes) due to the total lack of maintenance and cleanliness. Even the gas fireplace was dingy and shabby. It's hard to believe owners take such advantage of people by not keeping a property maintained and and in working condition. When we complained to the local manager, they had someone come over to clean the hot tub...so it was clean for our last 2 days. The gate by the hot tub was broken and thown to the side.
The view of the beach and ocean was beautiful...outside. However, the windows were filthy, with bird poop splattered over one. Again, it looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The garbage had not been taken out and was overflowing; it remained there and smelled badly for our entire stay. We had one towel per person, and they were very worn and one had holes and tears. Even of the linens were threadbare and scratchy.
Fortunately, my brother rented a vacation home down the street from another company. It was beautiful and well-maintained. As we helped them move in, there was someone washing the windows looking out a the ocean. What a contrast!! We spent almost no time at the Boathouse except to sleep as we were so embarrassed to bring our other family members over to the Boathouse.
The owners and rental company should be ashamed of the condition of this house. We had a great time with our family and enjoyed our hikes and beach walks. But we felt very ripped off and taken advantage of as visitors. We are in the process of complaining to Vacasa, and we also informed the Chamber of Commerce, hoping that other visitors have a better experience.
