About Paula

Don and Paula.

We currently reside on a farm in Saskatchewan, Don is a Grain Farmer and Paula works full time as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. We have two young adult daughters. One is attending U of S (College of Kinesiology), and the other is in a Business/Ag program also at the U of S. We love adventure and outdoor activities.

Paula purchased this townhome in 2013

Why Paula chose British Columbia Mountains

We are big fitness and outdoor enthusiasts! We first discovered the Kicking Horse area on a White Water Rafting excursion and fell in love with the area. After several ski trips we decided to purchase a property on the hill. Whatever season we use the property, the scenery is always spectacular and there is always something to do...wheather it is hiking or biking, skiing or rafting. This is a great family destination and we enjoy sharing our mountain place with others.

Great place for 4 people.

  • 5 of 5

Everything was as expected. No problems worth mentioning. The beds were especially comfortable. It had a lot of room and overall a great experience. A small hiccup on trying to get in the first day but was only a minor delay.

One story thou: it was around 4pm on saturday and all 4 of us were lounging around the couch and heard 2 knocks. Before one person could even get to the door from the couch, someone had entered the door code and opened the door VERY quickly. That was a huge surprise and could have been very embarrassing! I'm not sure if it was the cleaning person (mid 20's male). It was definitely a scare for some guy to randomly open the door on us. He quickly asked us how many more days we were staying (we were leaving the next day) and left.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the condo for a family wedding on the hill. It was an amazing location, high on the hill to give us amazing unlimited views as well as walking distance to the resort village. The access to the ski hill from the condo was perfect even with an infant in tow.

Cozy mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the condo for a ski weekend and the accommodation was excellent. The unit was warm when we arrived and truly fully stocked. We had three couples which made the unit a bit tight but for a short trip it worked great. Thanks Paula! Will be back next season.

Great time

  • 4 of 5

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Kicking Horse. It was as described and a lovey spot. The owner quickly addressed any concerns we had. The directions were easy to follow and very clear. We would go back again and would recommend this place to others.

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

Great place, exactly what we were hoping for! All the info provided was correct and accurate on getting in and the place had everything we needed and was very clean. Will definitely come back the next time. Now if there was only more snow on the hill it would have been better!

Wonderfull stay at Kicking Horse

  • 5 of 5

The condo is clean, as brand new. Beds are comfortable. The spa is well maintened. The view is unforgettable. It's a true ski-in. In terms of ski out, you have to walk a little bit (one minute or two) but it's not that bad at all. In fact the situation of the condo is better than most of the other one in the area. It will be my place when I go to Kicking horse.
