About Cameron Roe
My wife and I, along with 2 boys bought our dream condo in Solitude! As a transplanted Canadian, I know snow, and the snow at Solitude is amazing. We live down at the bottom of Big Cottonwood Canyon so are just a stones throw away if you have any issues so come on up and enjoy your stay!
Cameron Roe purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Cameron Roe chose Solitude
The one bedroom & den combination is the perfect situation for a family or friends. Not too big and expensive but still roomy and comfortable. We've tried to put everything in the room that you could want for a family ski trip (including Xbox!) but if there is anything you need just call.
What makes this Condo unique
While the winter is amazing and the snow the best in the world, you really should try the summers up in Solitude. Nice and cool at 8500 feet to beat the heat of the Salt Lake valley, yet close enough to go out to shows and theaters.

Clean, well-stocked, convenient condo
This place worked well for our family of four. It could sleep six easily. Probably the best stocked kitchen we've had in a rental. It's not quite ski in/out but few if any condos in solitude village are, and the walk to the lift is very short.
We thought the village "general store" would be enough, but it's not. The store owner was awesome, but get major groceries before heading up.
We ended up skiing Alta and Brighton as well. Loved them all.
We didn't interact with Cam and Leslie too much, but they were super nice and very helpful on the phone. I'd stay here again for sure.
Clean stylish convenient.
Terrific for a family of four, amazing access to nearby mountains, stylish well appointed
Great condo, great location
Enjoyed a short stay at this Powderhorn condo. Easy access to solitude ski slopes and short bus ride up to Brighton. Condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Owners were very responsive to questions both before and during our stay. Hot tub was sometimes crowded but still enjoyed at the end of each ski day.
Great. Location. Super comfortable
Easy access to the mountain. Appreciated the spices and kitchen was well equipped. Very comfortable for 4 people.
Great Value Rental!
This was the perfect place for our ski-in-ski-out skication! Our family of six fit comfortably, the condo was clean and conveniently located close to the rental shop and Apex ski lift, the kids had a blast at Club Solitude, Mom and Dad enjoyed the delicious restaurants in the village, and we all had an incredible time on the slopes. Tremendous value.
Loved this condo unit!
We just returned from our first "Ski Utah" trip and it was amazing! This condo and the Solitude Resort were perfect for needs. The condo was clean and very comfortable for the five of us. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need and more (full spice rack, nice dinnerware, a full range of pots and pans, etc.). The owner was so quick to respond to a minor issue we had (hair dryer wouldn't work) and provided excellent instructions for our stay. The resort is 12 miles up the mountain and the road at night is a little scary (for me anyway) but if you plan accordingly, there is really no need to leave the resort as it offers everything you need. The little village had a ski rental shop, a small pizza restaurant, a fun little après ski bar, and a (slightly) upscale restaurant all within steps of the condo. Brighton Mountain is a quick 5 minute ride up the mountain and several other ski resorts are quite easy to get to from Solitude. By far one of the best VRBO rentals we have had. Cant wait to come back next year.
It’s not just about getting away; it’s where you find yourself. Solitude’s charming, European-style village hosts many appetizing restaurants, comfortable accommodations and Club Solitude, where you, your family and friends can enjoy a multitude of activities from hot tubs, swimming pool, theatre, billiards and fitness facility. The Village is the center for many fun activities, such as ice skating, snowshoeing or making some delicious S’mores by one of the warm fire pits. The Solitude Mountain Spa is awesome and some hands on pampering after a day a skiing may be just the thing.
