Located directly on Boardwalk B less than a two-minute walk to the beach, The Haglund Beach House is a 2750 sq. ft. Charleston styled beach home with 4 bedrooms, 4 ½ baths in the perfect location in the heart of Rosemary Beach.
Situated next to the infinite edge Coquina pool, its wrap-around balcony and large, covered porch are perfect for sipping beverages while watching the kids splash in the pool. The spacious 3-story home with three family/TV/entertainment areas are great for accommodating multiple families staying together in the home.
The 3rd Floor is a Stay & Play Suite is ideal for multiple families whose kids can all stay together on their own floor with entertainment area and built-in trundle beds accommodating 6 (twin extra long (XL) size beds).
On the East side of Rosemary, the beach on this side of town is much less crowded and often only has one 'row' of beach chairs compared to the West side with multiple hotels and more extensive development to the North.

**Rosemary Beach - Advice on Listings and Location**
Some properties in Seacrest and Inlet beach advertise as being in Rosemary Beach, attempting to capture the demand for Rosemary Beach but misleading potential guests.
Rosemary Beach is a private community development, and only guests of owners have access to the four Rosemary pools (three outdoor, one indoor) and eight walkovers to the beach. Further, starting in 2016, Rosemary Beach Service is the sole provider of chairs and umbrellas on Rosemary Beach, requiring a unique owner provided reservation number in order to book.
While Rosemary Beach is not a large development, there can be a big difference in location. Properties North of 30A typically run less, but the walk to the beach can be taxing with children and/or carrying anything to the beach, typically requiring a bike. Golf carts are outlawed in the community and not an option. Homes on the East end of Rosemary tend to enjoy a less crowded beach area (Boardwalks A-E) and less rows of beach chairs due to the reduced density of the community northward and lack of condos. West end development is further north, higher density and draws beachgoers from the Pearl Hotel, Pensione Inn, and a large number of condos. In general, any area of Rosemary Beach is great, but location can make big difference.

We started visiting the 30A area about five years ago, and we love how family friendly the area has become. The sugar sand beach and beautiful ocean are as good as many Caribbean destinations but so much easier to get to. Our kids love the beach, multiple Rosemary pools, bicycling, and of course the various ice cream outlets. And since the new airport (ECP) opened in Panama City Beach, there is no excuse not to visit!
Bordering the Coquina Pool is a tremendous benefit, but the house is separated enough that pool noise is not an issue. It makes stay-in lunches very convenient, whether your bunch is at the beach or the pool! Just a short walk down the boardwalk, we are located on Walkover B toward the less congested, east end of the “Rosemary Beach” beach. Plus we are located on a dead-end, so traffic is minimal and kids are able to play and ride bikes. The home has three family areas and large porches (1st/2nd floor) to allow everyone their own space. Kids of all ages love staying together in the 3rd floor, "stay & play” suite including a wii for rainy days. The private yard and huge parking area (by Rosemary standards) will help to make your stay easier than ever. Located south of 30A and very close to everything Rosemary offers - beach, pool, tennis, fitness, shopping, hiking/biking trails, playground — we are sure you will enjoy your stay.

We have been coming to the Rosemary Beach area for seven years. This was our first time to stay at The Haglund's Beach house. The house was comfortable for two families and a Nana. The location is excellent. Well worth the price!
We have stayed at several different homes in Rosemary Beach. The Haglund Home, 25 S. Belize is by far the best. Not only is it well maintained, the LOCATION is near perfect. The area pool is out the front door, no coolers required, kids can return home for bathroom breaks or snacks and never leave your sight. The beach is short walk away, as well as a playground for kids under 8 or so. We have already reserved for another STAY!
The Haglund Cottage is a wonderful vacation home in the perfect location--steps from the pool, close to the beach, and walking distance to local RB shops and restaurants. The home is ideal for families with children or teenagers, with multiple entertainment areas and the well-planned third floor bunk room. It is also close to green spaces and a playground for younger children.
The Haglunds are responsive, provide great advice on local spots, and go out their way to make the stay enjoyable (the lockers of beach toys, for example, are great). Highly recommend this home and we hope to be back.
This was our second year at The Haglund Cottage. We stayed last year and loved the home and it's location so we returned this year. Just steps away from the Coquina Pool and the beautiful beach on Boardwalk B it was a fabulous week. The owner was very accessible and attentive to our needs and the house perfect for our whole family. i especially liked the second floor living room where you could cuddle up on the comfy couch and watch a movie while my niece and nephew played in the kids area pretending to be cooking for us. As in my review last year, I would LOVE to see a built in gas grill as I definitely would grill a lot more than we did however I did manage to chef up some pretty scrumptious meals:) We did a bonfire on the beach through the Rosemary Beach POA which I highly recommend, very cool. I want to thank The Haglunds for once again allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. I'm hoping it will work out to return for a third year.
My family of 6 adults and 6 kids (all under 10) stayed in Haglund Cottage for a week in May, 2016. The location, right beside the Coquina community pool and 200 steps from the beach on the boardwalk, was perfect. There were many beach chairs and toys to use (check under the stairs!) and we all spent a lot of time sitting in the comfortable chairs on the big porches. Downtown Rosemary Beach and Bennett Square are an easy 5 minute walk thru quiet streets canopied with trees and lush vegetation. We have stayed in many locations from Destin East all along 30A and we like Rosemary Beach the best. It has great beaches, the pool and places for adults to walk to easily for Farmer's Market, shopping or coffee (Amavida Coffee Shop! Cold brew coffee on tap). Publix and are Winn-Dixie are 3 miles away. The best, fresh seafood is at Buddy's Seafood , a short drive East. Try the sushi-grade tuna! Wow! Bike rentals are available everywhere and the area is perfect for riding even with kids. For adults, Chan's Wine World in Watercolor happy hour (11-6) has half price wine and an amazing selection. Try the cheese/nut/meat sampler platter. Almost a meal.
The house is as advertised with a well-stocked kitchen, new washer and dryer and comfortable beds. The kids loved the third floor bunkroom- with its own bathroom and shower-and they played there a lot. If I had any complaint it would be that there is very little counter space in a couple of the bathrooms. The house was very clean and well-maintained.
The owner, Steve, was very easy to communicate with and followed up after we checked in and after we left. He sent a very complete list of instructions and things to know about the area. We rented a couple sets of beach chairs and umbrellas and we found it worth the price to have them there for us each day. We used the company Steve recommended. So easy!
We all enjoyed Rosemary Beach and the Haglund Cottage. I would recommend it highly!
The Haglund's beach home is in the perfect location to enjoy a getaway to South Walton and 30A. Being south of 30A ensures you are steps from the beach (no bike required) and you can see from the photos that the door of the home is steps from the coquina pool -- making it exceptionally convenient when poolside to dart in and out of the house if you've forgotten something or just want to replenish your cool beverage. The home is very spacious with essentially three separate living areas -- one on each level -- with the third level ideally set up for kids of any age (I took teenagers and they loved having their own space for what felt like a sleep-over!) There is ample parking on property, which is very nice and somewhat rare for RB rentals. I especially enjoyed being on the eastern end of the town, which made driving to and from 98 a breeze. The home is nicely furnished and well appointed with a fully functional kitchen and dining area for meals in. And the three bedrooms are all nice each with an ensuite bath. The owners were great to work with and provided excellent documentation and recommendations for getting the most out of our stay. I felt like I had everything I needed to know well in advance of arrival to make it as easy as possible for us. I would not hesitate to recommend this house and certainly plan to return for future trips to RB!
The 30A area offers an abundance of activities ranging from the beach, golf, biking, kayaking/paddle boarding, shopping and restaurants serving a wide variety of tastes and budgets.
