1Bd/1Ba Condo - Downtown Salt Lake. This unit has been remodeled with hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and off street parking. Trax is just one block to the south which can take you to all that Downtown Salt Lake has to offer. (i.e. Temple Square, Salt Palace Convention Center, Natural History Museum, City Creek Center, Energy Solutions Arena, Gateway Shopping Center and Capitol Theater.)
Condo is also located just 45 minutes from Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Park City, Deer Valley and The Canyons Ski resorts.
For me, the number one selling point at the time – and still – is the location. The 3 buildings that make up City Haven are located at the corners of 300 South and 800 East. Its proximity to downtown and the Broadway shopping district of Broadway, as well as it’s east-side locale kitty-corner from Caffe Niche and Dexterity salon, make for a very bike/walk- friendly address. The buildings are in the shape of a “U”, creating a common courtyard for the owners and pets [dogs and cats under 20 lbs. are welcome]. Couple those delights with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, new bathrooms, kitchens and roofing — all told, you’ve landed on ‘urban’ and ‘cozy’.
This marks my fourth stay at this property in two years. It's perfect for what I need: relative proximity to downtown without being downtown, close to transportation, close to a cafe and groceries, and in a quiet neighborhood. Super bonus that I can do my laundry while here. I'll come back again.
This apt was just as shown, clean and comfortable. The location was handy to jump on the bus to downtown. The complex was quiet with no issues. The apartment was stocked with extras, in the event that you forgot something. Would definitely recommend this place!
This sleek, renovated one bedroom apartment has everything we needed and was the perfect base for our weekend. We walked everywhere - to the UU Law school graduation, to the light rail, to restaurants and grocery - almost never took the car. The bed is very comfortable. The decor is muted and calm. I would highly recommend this property and Cafe Niche right across the street.
Loved the condo and the location couldn't be beat for the proximity to the U and to downtown. A block from the Trax line and right in the middle of things but still a quiet residential location. Beautiful unit and Alisha is great to work with. The only real issue we had was the noisy laundry equipment which we feared bothered the neighbors after hours. Recommend planning laundry during the day for that reason. However, no problems with neighbors the entire week we were there. We hope to return many times over the next three years!!
This modern condo was centrally located between University of Utah and Downtown area. We walked to both. The unit was very comfortable and spacious enough for my husband and me. The owner was immediately responsive when I requested a coffee grinder for the coffee which was already provided. The only thing missing was a mat for the bathtub, as it was quite slippery. I just put a towel inside the tub, which was fine, but a mat would be better.
We stayed at the property for 7 days and found it to be comfortable and convenient. We skied at Snowbird for 3 days and found the 35 min drive to be easily doable. We also found the condo was located near restsurants, site seeing, museums, & shopping. The best part was the proximity to Trader Joes and Whole Foods. We were able to cook at the condo and make lunches to take with us. The owner is very nice and very responsive. We needed some extra blankets which she brought for us and replaced a light bulb too! The condo is well equipped- washer & dryer too! We would stay here again. We are a family of three (4yr old). Thank you
