This amazingly quiet first floor apartment is located in a small alley in the heart of Rome in the historic center of the eternal city.
The location is one of the strengths of this apartment because you can get to the main points of tourist interest by just walking.
A few steps from the Pantheon (Piazza della Rotonda) and behind the Piazza delle Coppelle. Piazza Navona and Campo dé Fiori are 5 minutes to walk, which are your gateways to the main cafes, restaurants and bars.
If you want to do the real fashion shopping on the main street of Rome, with 10 minutes walking you can reach Via del Corso, Via Condotti, and Spanish steps area. Here you can throw a coin into the Trevi fountain and make a wish to return to Rome again!
The Vatican and St. Peter's square are just on the opposite side of the Tiber, and to have a journey into the past, you can visit the Colosseum and Roman Forum, which are only 15 minutes walking distance.
There is also a supermarket within 2 minutes walk, and some cafes where you can enjoy a good breakfast under the sun of Rome.
The apartment is located on the first floor in a old 18th century building, doorway on the street is made of massive wood, and just inside the building there is another iron gate before entering to the upper floor.
Inside, the apartment is decorated with antiques, and the first sight gives you the sense of space, since you have a big living room. Two quiet bedrooms are on the right, accessible with two wooden doors directly from the living room. The sleeping area is divided from the rest of the apartment.
On the left side, there is a new and versatile kitchen, provided with appliances where you can cook good meals.
There is also a small upper floor, where you can put your luggage.
All rooms are provided with windows overlooking the quiet street.
This apartment is really cozy and comfortable, pleasant and well maintained, good for families or a group of friends.

About Raul Cinquegrani
I am Raul Cinquegrani, and I am the manager of this apartment. I was born in Rome in 1985, and I still live here. I already have a B&B in the center of Rome, and now I have this 'new' apartment for those who don't want to stay in a hotel. This is a chance to live in the center of Rome at an affordable price.
Raul Cinquegrani purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Raul Cinquegrani chose Navona
I selected this property because it is best way to visit Rome and all of Rome's treasures.

The Perfect Location!
The apartment was fantastic in terms of location. Central to shops, restaurants, and many historical attractions! It was also very spacious and we loved being in an old, but well kept, building. (The description and pictures on the website were very accurate.) The only negatives; the sitting space in the apartment was sparse (but who really wants to sit around in Roma), and the kitchen was not as clean as it should have been. A new sponge, extra dish towels, and more/better soap, would have gone a long way! Easy fixes and otherwise a great place!
Superb experience. Highly recommended.
Great location with some drawbacks
You probably cannot find a place better situated than this. We could walk to many of the desired destinations for tourists. However, the apartment could use some work. It is spacious and only one floor up - so comfortable in that regard. However, it is noisy. How could it not be when there are 3 restaurants directly below all three windows? And they stay open until 1am.
So bring your ear plugs and your sound machines. After being out all day and walking your feet off, it would be nice to come back to some comfortable chairs. But both "sofas" are just not even close to comfortable. One of the beds is fine, the other needs to be replaced.
The kitchen is adequate, but with so many restaurants ( we liked La Tavernetta 48 - just look outside the window) all around, you probably won't want to cook. But learn how to make coffee in a french press or italian style pot before you come.
This place has great potential. We urge the owner to spend a little and upgrade it to a higher level of comfort.
Great location, friendly owner, plenty of space. Only problem was air conditioning didn't work so well but it was really hot those days.
Location is great, house lacked amenities (didn't have toilet paper, dish clothes etc..)
Wasn't very clean at all.
Toilet paper is always home. MAybe only 2 rolls but it was, did you want toilet paper for all your holidays?
Why after one week staying if your rate is 1 star you NEVER call me and ask me to fix what was not ok? (that nobody know because you wrote ETC.)
Great Location in Rome
Overall, I think that this was a great apartment to rent for our family of 4. The owner Raul met us right away when we arrived at the apartment and gave us some good ideas for places to do local shopping besides the typical tourist attractions. Great location for getting to Vatican City, Pantheon, Trevi fountain by walking there. Apartment was also very close to several different bus stops for those attractions that are a little further away, easy to get on/off the buses.
Apartment was also nice to have small kitchen facilities available. Had two bedrooms with queen size beds, and couch in living room could sleep there also if needed. Apartment had two air conditioner's but only one of them worked. One would circulate air, but it was not cool air. The other one would not turn on for us, but Raul came back to turn in on for us, thankfully that worked well.
Our family stayed here for 5 days, and we would certainly stay here again, the price was good as compared to other VRBO listings.
In the middle of historic center, museums and churches of Rome are all around. Walking in the history and visiting the main points of tourist interest are the recommended things easy to do. Piazza Navona is only 5 minutes walking, here is possible to have an own portrait, makes by one of the many artist working there. Pantheon is the wonderful church with an hole on the top. Really close are also: Spanish steps, Via del Corso, Via Condotti, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia and Colossem.
