We own and operate several properties on Aquidneck Island that offer nightly, weekly & monthly rentals.

Thames Street is 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo located in the heart of downtown newport. This a second & third floor property, directly above retail shops. Each bedroom has a king size bed that sleeps 6 guests. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor. There are one bedroom, one bathroom, cozy eat in kitchen and living room on the third floor. Roof top deck, full kitchen, living area, wifi, and one parking spot.

This is great location to have celebrations but excess parties or damages will not be tolerated.

Fantastic Apartment!

This is a fantastic apartment and we highly recommend. We were two couples that rented it in mid October for two nights. It is well located with a number of restaurants and shops within easy walking (1 - 6 blocks). The Newport Visitors Center is about 8 blocks from which buses can be caught for all Newport attractions. There is really good water view from the top deck. The apartment is the second and third floors, plus rooftop deck, of an older home, above two small retail shops. It is very spacious with all three bedrooms and baths being comparable (highly unusual in rental property, so great for traveling couples. The living area, kitchen and roof deck are spacious and well equipped. The decor, furnishings and linen are very good quality and very attractive. The only negative for the property is street noise from late night revelers returning from nearby bars and from traffic in that Thames is one of primary streets to the scenic Ocean Drive.

Absolute BLAST for a beautiful late September Girls Weekend!!

The location of this guesthouse couldn't have been more perfect. Honestly, pictures do NOT do this guesthouse justice. It was spot on for our needs. There are 2 BRs/2Baths on the bottom floor, and then 1BR/1Bath connected to a full kitchen and living room space on the top floor. After a day vineyard hopping, we arrived at the guesthouse. We made a large dinner and then spent the majority of the late afternoon/evening sharing stories and laughs on the HUGE roof deck overlooking Thames Street and the water. The sunset was unreal. Paul (Guesthouse Manager) was very kind and attentive. Also much appreciate that we were provided with a keycode to the door (that changes per guest), which was easy for everyone to come as go as they pleased without having to search for a key. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to explore Newport. There is only 1 parking spot available for the unit, but finding non residential parking up the street for my other friend's cars wasn't as challenging as I thought it would be.

Amazing location

Recently stayed here with 5 friends as we were in town for a wedding; also rented another house on Pope St for the other 6. The house is perfect for large groups - 3 king beds and 3 separate bathrooms - one with a double-sink. It made getting ready really easy. The house is right in the heart of Newport downtown and in the middle of all of the action which meant we could walk everywhere. The bonus of the house is the roofdeck - amazing views, large enough to entertain a party of 15. Beds are a bit too soft for my taste, but everyone else slept great. Housekeeper came to clean mid-way through our stay which was unexpected.

Some tips: We weren't aware of the free breakfast at the Sister Inn which is a bit of a bummer. It'd be helpful if the owners had a "book/binder" of sorts that explained where to put recycling, trash, whether or not to strip the beds, the wifi code, restaurant recommendations, etc. It also would be helpful if the owners were able to text or email or use the VRBO/HomeAway app that lets you know all of the check-in and check-out information on the app itself, as opposed to having the owner call me 3 times and my scrambling to find time to call them back.

Lovely location, a little shabby

Phil, the property manager was very attentive and everything was ready for us, including some snacks in the fridge! However, the property itself was a little more rundown than we were expecting. I understand about old houses, but there are some improvements that could have been made re: closets, counter space/ towel racks/ surface space in the bathroom, dishes and coffee mugs, etc. Overall it was a lovely experience though.

Did not meet expectations

My family stayed at this property over Memorial Day Weekend. Overall we were very disappointed. When we arrived, the place was filthy, and missing several essentials. The furnishings and appliances are very outdated. Might work for fraternity or bachelor parties, but din't work for us. On the plus side, Phil, the property manager was very friendly and responsive. Also, the breakfasts at the Inn were great. While we enjoyed Our stay in Newport, we would not choose to stay at this property again.

Owner's Response: Dear Daniel, I understand you were frustrated with your stay, to say the place was out of date in your review seems slightly off, we completely remodled the kitchen this past winter, put all new beds and furniture last year, redid the floors and painted, plus updated all the kitchen utensils and equipment. To also post it as filthy and a frat house atmosphere is what we are not going for at all. I find it after all the hard work we all do here a review like this is unjustifiable. Excellent Location

We rented the condo for a Saturday night out in Newport and it was amazing. It's located within walking distance of everything, and Kevin was very helpful and responsive. The beds are also incredibly comfortable. Amazing place!
