About Tiffany Golling

My name is Tiffany Golling, and I am a true l.a. girl, born and raised. I am so excited to offer my family's home as a fabulous vacation rental, as it has the most amazing location for a Los Angeles visit. I am a math teacher by profession, but after working with my now husband with his vacation rentals, I've seen the possibilities. I know all the attractions Hollywood and Los Angeles has to offer, and I can help you make the most out of your visit!!

Tiffany Golling purchased this house in 2000

Why Tiffany Golling chose Los Angeles County

The Hollywood Dell is such a hidden gem, close to everything, yet feels so far away. It is one of the most popular neighborhoods for celebrities, with neighbors like Chris Brown, Eva Longoria, and Doris Roberts literally on the same street just a few houses away, and many, many more in the neighborhood. So when my dad had a chance to buy some property, he jumped on it. The house was built in 2001, and for almost 12 years was home to my family. I am now proud to offer it to my guests, and I know from personal experience how great this area and house is. The house is in the most ideal location for anybody wanting to get a true feeling of living with celebrities in the famous Hollywood Hills. There are world-famous attractions and amazing views and hiking trails just minutes from the house.

What makes this house unique

The neighborhood is absolutely the best feature of the house, but the house will blow you away! The house is HUGE (3000 sq. ft.), with large open concept kitchen, dining, and living/TV rooms. The master bedroom is comfortable and extremely spacious, and the second and third bedrooms have everything you need. This house will be a welcoming retreat for you and your family, as you explore everything Hollywood and Los Angeles has to offer!!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We loved your house! The spaciousness of EVERYTHING made our stay very comfortable. We love all of the natural light your house was open to. My mom was very amazed at how stocked the kitchen came. I can't imagine anything else that could have made our stay any better. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your house! (comment taken from guest book)

Great location

  • 4 of 5

We booked this house for 3 days before returning to the UK via LAX, it was great for our needs. Really quiet location, loads of space, and a good location to get out and about. The owner was very helpful and let us stay later on the day of our departure which meant we didn't have to hang around at the airport. We saw the LA Dodgers, (great family entertainment) and visited The Grove, Santa Monica and Manhattan Beaches which were lovely (don't bother with Venice!). My only criticism is that the outside areas of the house could do with a bit of TLC, a clean and some better chairs and BBQ. I would recommend this house. The walk up to the Dam was enjoyable too - spotted Stephen Fry!

Beautiful Home

  • 4 of 5

We were a party of five visiting from Arizona and Arkansas. We get together every year for an adventure and found this beautiful home in the Hollywood Hills to be very nice ! Lots of room in a quiet neighborhood. Streets were quite challenging,

But that just added to the fun. Thanks for allowing us into your home.

Expect swindling effort

  • 1 of 5

My family decided to rent this home for our family vacation, which included both adults and kids. Prior to the rental, I had already communicated with Tiffany to ensure that there would be enough beds to accommodate the size of my group. During the payment process we paid for a cleaning fee and damage protection fee, which were required. After our checkout, I received a surprising email complaining and alleging to charge us extra for 1) leaving blood on a comforter, which was caused by a child's nose bleed and which we would have gladly washed during our stay but while washing our clothes found that the dryer did not dry at all, 2) leaving "much more laundry to do for the next group", which should have been expected due to the large size of our group which Tiffany was well aware of already and which should have no bearing since we already paid a cleaning fee (even though a cleaning fee was included we were still expected to put the dirty dishes in the washer or wash the dishes and take out the trash, which we did obliging), 3) for allegedly entering, "ruffling", and "taking items" from a storage area that was not communicated or labeled as such, and 4) for allegedly "ripping" off one hinge on a cabinet which our payment already included a damage protection fee. I found this email to be very petty in her effort to swindle additional money from us. I've rented numerous vacation homes before and have always had a pleasant experience. This one definitely spoiled that.

Owner's Response: I'm shocked at this review- it has nothing to do with their actual stay or experience. I absolutely do not 'swindle' money from my guests, I had simply written an email asking this guest about the damages found. She paid for damage protection, so there was no charging her for anything after the fact. In her review, she admitted to leaving a bloody comforter. Yes, that is considered damage. You cannot simply wash such a large comforter in a regular sized washer, and blood is a stain not easily removed. Her claim that she would have washed it is bogus- the dryer works fine, and we also provide a drying rack to hang dry clothes. She did shuffle through our personal storage area and used every extra linen and towel we had. On days that we have back-to-back groups, we need the extras since there is such a time constraint. She used double the amount of items that we usually provide. Had she asked, I would have been happy to supply her with more. It was just a surprise to find upon check out. Yes, I do ask my guests to fill the dishwasher and start it, as well as take out the trash. It is not uncommon to do when renting a house. She did rip off a door from a cabinet, and again I was just informing her- I did not charge her because she paid for the protection. All these things were trivial, and I only sent an email to inform her, but obviously she became so defensive about it that it made her react in an extreme way. Her review states nothing about the house or the experience, it is just her reaction to my email. Please read through every other review, they actually tell you what to expect from renting this house. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about this review, so I will have to just accept that Mai wanted to hurt my business. She did tell me that they had a wonderful time, it's too bad she couldn't have considered that with her rating. Oh well.

We had a girls weekend and stayed here at the house. We couldn't have asked for a better house/owner to work with! Everything was perfect! It was so close to everything we wanted to do and still wasn't right in the middle of all the craziness in town! The house and neighborhood were beautiful! The owner was so easy to work with and responded so fast anytime I had a question! I defiantly would recommend this house to anyone!!

Love it!

The house is everything it describes to be! Rooms are spacious. House was very clean. There was a bit of an ant problem but we were hardly at the house so it didn't matter. I think toiletry supplies should be more sufficient.
