Great space, nice beds, okay location

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is awesome on the inside, and the wrap around porch on the top level is great for hanging out. The cabin does not have any other outdoor space for hanging out which we were a little let down by. There is an old hot tub that has fallen apart sitting outside of the cabin - we wished this had worked. Also the cabin is a very long walk from town, we always drove.

Memorably Unique

  • 5 of 5

Plenty of room for individual privacy within the three bedrooms as well as the tv room and large deck yet a nice communal area in the lovely kitchen and dining area. Great location close to town and grocery store and easy access to RMNP. We avoided the congestion in town by hiking during the day and cooking deluxe meals in the well-appointed kitchen in the evening. The hosts, Jack and Donna, are unobtrusive but quick to answer all questions. The interior woodwork and furniture were all made by Jack from wood of beetle-killed trees and it is memorable. We look forward to staying there again.

Great house

  • 4 of 5

Our family really enjoyed staying at the large house. Plenty of room, and very well equipped kitchen. The only significant down was an east facing window in the small bedroom that did not have any type of cover which allowed the early morning sun to directly shine on the bed which made sleeping after sunrise difficult.

View was not great, but very convenient to town and RMNP.

Wonderful cabin! Overall wonderful property, in addition to a perfect location.

  • 4 of 5

We were very happy with the cabin . Wonderful location between Estes Park and RMNP. Pictures don't do justice to the condition of the property, only suggestion would be an upgrade to the beds and bedding . Owner was gracious about any requests or questions. Loved, loved the wrap around porch . Yes, street noise, but you could still hear the creek. Another advantage was a sidewalk that we had great walks on. Kitchen fully furnished, more than we could use and we cooked most of the time . Had son and family with us and it was a perfect fit for all !

Immaculate Large Cabin with ample indoor and outdoor living area

  • 5 of 5

Upon our arrival we were amazed at the cleanliness, great condition, and spaciousness of the Cabin. The outdoor living areas were equally spacious, with many "living areas" on the wrap-around porch. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. The location of the cabin was perfect for quick access to town (grocery store and cute downtown Estes just minutes away), as well as access to the RMNP entrance. From our porch we saw a large Elk crossing the road right in front of the cabin! We highly recommend this very reasonably priced property - worth every penny!
