Wonderful cabin! Overall wonderful property, in addition to a perfect location.

  • 4 of 5

We were very happy with the cabin . Wonderful location between Estes Park and RMNP. Pictures don't do justice to the condition of the property, only suggestion would be an upgrade to the beds and bedding . Owner was gracious about any requests or questions. Loved, loved the wrap around porch . Yes, street noise, but you could still hear the creek. Another advantage was a sidewalk that we had great walks on. Kitchen fully furnished, more than we could use and we cooked most of the time . Had son and family with us and it was a perfect fit for all !

Immaculate Large Cabin with ample indoor and outdoor living area

  • 5 of 5

Upon our arrival we were amazed at the cleanliness, great condition, and spaciousness of the Cabin. The outdoor living areas were equally spacious, with many "living areas" on the wrap-around porch. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. The location of the cabin was perfect for quick access to town (grocery store and cute downtown Estes just minutes away), as well as access to the RMNP entrance. From our porch we saw a large Elk crossing the road right in front of the cabin! We highly recommend this very reasonably priced property - worth every penny!

Great vacation home! Elk in yard right near the door first day 😁

  • 5 of 5

Plenty of space, really nice furnishings made by owners Son. Nice clean home with all you need. Great location, very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes. The day of our arrival two huge Elk came nearly right to the outside porch on the back of the house which was really neat to see! Plenty of little chipmunks on the boulders near the house to provide entertainment as well if your new to the area. Overall the home was above my expectations as you never know what to expect when you haven't physically seen what your renting. Plenty of games if you want to just enjoy home time. Porches are a nice place to enjoy the Beautiful outdoors. There's a stream directly across the street that you can hear when it's quiet. It's a nice view while sitting at the kitchen table or front porch. The home has a full cabin feeling decorated with all things mountain cabin themed. Nothing in the world is perfect so I have a few things to mention.. when looking online I assumed a mountain cabin would be in a quite mountain setting but I realized quickly by driving around I'm not sure where in Estes you find a quiet cabin as it's a full vacation rental home and lodge community. We didn't have close by neighbors except one that was basically invisible but the cabin is on a main highway. It didn't cause any issues but was just not what I expected. And I didn't inquire about it either or I'm sure they would have told me. It worked out well though because of the close entry to park and town and we still had wildlife visiting. The driveway is a little interesting because it's slanted with gravel so we slid a few times walking so I'd say walk careful. I also did not ask about living space but the entire living space is on upper floor about 20 steps up and by looking at pics I assumed it was two living levels. And the Master shower drain is slow so the water pools in shower which I did not address with owner because it didn't seem clogged just slow. My few things are not complaints just things I did not ask about when renting and things I feel would be helpful for others to know. We did forget our dogs kennel so we bought a xl one and left it in home for future furry friends. Our entire family enjoyed the home and the location. It was a nice place to visit. We didn't go to any local resturants we cooked at the house and there is everything you need to cook anything you want. It's a great vacation place and the owner was very nice. Great family Vacation!

Very relaxing

Even though I was ill most of the time, everyone really enjoyed their stay. I had some good times, but when I became ill the home and their area really helped my illness--nothing contagious. Excellent home.
