Beautiful cabin in perfect location!

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful hand-crafted cabin across the road from Fall River. Perfect location for Rocky Mountain National Park and town. Great covered deck with multiple seating areas to enjoy the mountain air. Wildlife sightings daily - including elk! Owners live right next door and were super accomodating!

Estes Park Property

  • 2 of 5

While this facility itself is adequate, the location is less than ideal. It is located close to Fall River road with significant traffic and traffic noise. There is also no real play area for children. While it sleeps eight, anyone with children under twelve may find it unsuitable. Also, the owner violated his own contract provisions and refused to refund our damage deposit despite the fact there was no damage and he incurred no additional costs due to our stay. He also will not communicate with us.

Given the poor location and the fact that I believe the owner has a demonstrated lack of integrity, I cannot in good conscience recommend this property to anyone.

Loved Our Stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 5 nights and found the location to be very convenient for getting into the national park or visiting the town. Plenty of space to sit and relax after a great hike! The owners were very accommodating and willing to work out some details for the reservation and the place looked great upon our arrival. I would highly recommend this cabin as a great alternative to a hotel stay.

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in the cabin for 5 days at the end of June. The cabin was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen was great and the grill and patio were a great plus. There is not an air conditioner at the cabin (and the weather was very warm during our stay) but we were never hot. We opened the windows and the evenings cooled down quite nicely. The location of the cabin could not be better. Minutes from RMNP in one direction, and minutes from town in the other direction. It is worth noting that while it looks like a 2 story cabin on the website, the bottom floor is only storage. In order to enter the cabin, you must climb stairs. There was some noise from the road during the day, but at night, you can really only hear the sounds of the river, which is right across the street. We had 6 people in our group and everyone was comfortable. We had an issue with the satellite/internet when we first arrived, but the owner came and fixed the problem immediately (new router). We were very pleased with our stay. Suggestion - there is a non-working hot tub next to the house - in my opinion, it should either be repaired or moved. It's kind of an eyesore as is.
