Zeer schoon, woonkamer precies grootbgenoeg, 2 fijne slaapkamer met bedden met erg fijne matrassen. Fijn balkon met schuin zicht op strand.

Lovely, modern, bright apartment with seaview

This is a lovely, modern apartment. The terrace has plenty of space for 2 loungers plus table and chairs. Despite it being a windy coastline it is still possible to sit outside and enjoy the sun - even in January - especially in the morning since the wind doesn't get up till around midday and the terrace faces the rising sun. There is an open plan lounge with 2 sofas, so plenty of space to relax inside, a dining and fully equipped kitchen area. 2 good spacious bedrooms both with large wardrobes and cupboard space and plenty of hangers. A bathroom with bath and shower attached on a pole for standing under. Mirror and hairdryer in the bathroom. The owner Juan is very helpful and speaks very good English. He was ready waiting for me at the top gate by the road when I arrived. He showed me around the apartment, showed me a nearby supermaket on a map - 10 minutes walk away - he also arranged for a taxi when I was leaving. There is a storage area in the garage if you have a later flight where you can store your luggage. The apartment is in a gated area so nice and secure. There is a gate onto the street at the back and a gate onto the wooden promenade at the bottom (the side by the sea). The apartment blocks are built on a hillside so there are some steps to climb, but they are not too steep and have a handrail. The apartment is about half way up the hillside. It is a really lovely location, quiet at night, but in the middle of the wind surfers and nearby cafes during the day. It's only 10 minutes walk into the center along the wooden promenade which is lined with nice authentic cafes and surfing shops. There are at least 3 or 4 supermarkets in El Medano, all within walking distance. I thoroughly recommend staying at this apartment and hope to come back to it again. A really nice place to stay.
