Saving the best for last.... The beach access is just across the street! This is the newest beach access Lincoln City has to offer. Sure there may be a few stairs to go before reaching the sand, but there are plenty of places to pause along the way. This is a very beautifully done access designed for all ages young and old.
Don't feel like taking the stairs? Just a short drive South on Anchor St will take you to a handicap accessible beach access complete with parking and ramp.

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Great location, great cardio workout from the stairs (house and beach access), awesome tide pools, and beautiful beach! Thank you!
The view from the living room is awesome! The kitchen has almost everything we need to cook our meals. Chatting with friends while enjoy the killer view outside our windows is priceless! To go to the beach, there is a long stair. But that does not both us too much.
The view from the top porch is beautiful. The house is older, but had what we needed and more for cooking there and being entertained. The stairs were fine for us, but if the ones to the beach are too many (112 by our count) you could drive down the road for an easier beach access. The road the house is on is steep and narrow. If you drive a big truck, it would be a bit of a challenge to stay at this property. My little Subaru did fine parking in the garage and driveway. Overall, we had a nice stay at the property, and would recommend it.
The home was well stocked with kitchen utensils, plenty of extra pillows blankets, ect. The rooms were nice and cozy. It is across the street from the beach and yes there are a lot of stairs but this didn't bother us at all. This home does not come with any beach "toys" ( shovels, buckets, ect.) like some places do, also no nice chairs to sit on the deck and enjoy the ocean. There were only a few cheap white plastic chairs. I think if the owners invested a little money it could be a very nice place to stay. Suggestions (other than what i mentioned): bbq for guests, a vacuum cleaner (!!!!!), verity of DVDs, and games. I also think the garage would make a really cool "hang out room" foosbal table? Darts? Pool table? I realize this is for parking but the large space could make a fun game room.
The playground is so close and my kids had fun playing with the other "non locals" :)
Overall it suited our needs just fine.
My husband and I first visited Oregon in 2014. We loved it but agreed that next time we'd stay longer at the coast. We got married in September of 2015 but wanted to wait until spring to go on our honeymoon in Oregon. We chose Lincoln City, I'm not sure how or why, but the booked Anchor Aweigh because of it's proximity to the beach, and the affordable cost per night. We LOVED it. The house was so comfortable. I loved the layout, how the living room and the kitchen were upstairs and the bedrooms were below. Short walk to the beach, and not a far walk from many things in town. Lincoln City is great, and I can't wait to come back. Thank you!
The property has such wonderful ocean view and you can hear ocean from house. We will return for sure.
The garage door doesn't have an actual opener but you can use the pad outside the garage door to open and close.
Very clean, stocked very well.
