This stylish one double-bed apartment is in the heart of bustling Fitzrovia, part of London’s central West End theatre district. The LOCATION makes this apartment truly special. Ideally located within easy walking distance to all the major attractions - including Oxford Street and Covent Garden, theatre-land, cinemas, Soho bars and clubs and Chinatown.

The apartment is quiet, secure and private, set within a beautiful period building and with original features. A second floor walk-up (no elevator), it is fully equipped and furnished. The bedroom has a double bed, flat screen TV and fitted wardrobes. The living room has an L shaped sofa and dining area. The small, fully equipped kitchenette includes washing machine, hob, combination oven and large fridge-freezer. The bathroom has a tub with shower over.

Cable TV (Freeview), international landline calls and wireless broadband are all included free in the rental price.

The location is fantastic - right in the heart of the west end of London, with masses of both fine dining restaurants and local eateries right on your doorstep. The immediate neighbourhood is a vibrant and historic area, with a thriving pavement cafe culture mixed with art galleries, museums and useful local shops.

London's main theatre district, large department stores and many famous restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

Inside the apartment, the living room, bedroom and bathroom are each off a central hallway. The kitchenette is off the living room. The apartment is very quiet and private - it is not overlooked and you will not hear any traffic or other noise from the street.

A welcome pack is provided with soap, shower gel, coffee, tea, snacks, oil, vinegar, cleaning and clothes washing liquid. There are adapter plugs for overseas electrical equipment; a hair dryer is provided. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking at home, including a coffee maker. Tea coffee, basic spices, oil, vinegar etc are provided. Towels and bed linen are provided and all this is included in the price.

The apartment is situated on the second floor (no elevator) with entry phone and door buzzer. It is secure, quiet and private, although with bustling pavement-cafe street life on your doorstep. The apartment is suitable for couples. The small kitchenette is well equipped, including a washing machine, combined microwave/grill/conventional oven, two ring hob, sink and large fridge/freezer.

Five star property in five star locaion

I stayed in Samantha's apartment in early December for six nights, and it would have to be one of the nicest private rental apartments I have stayed in. It is larger and brighter than the photos suggest and very well organised - I had everything I needed for my stay without it every feeling crowded or cluttered. The kitchen is compact, but again had everything I needed and it was great to have a washing machine in the apartment. Communication was very straightforward with Samantha, who kindly checked in with me during my stay. It is up two flights of stairs, however they are normal width stairs - not the usual narrow ones you often find in Europe - so there was no issue getting my (stuffed!) suitcase down the stairs when I left. The location is great - close to Oxford street, Tottenham Court Road, various supermarkets, multiple tube stations and endless number of cafes and restaurants. There is a bar in the basement of the building, but it is not open very late so noise was not an issue. I was staying on my own and felt very comfortable in the area. I have no hesitation in recommending Samantha's apartment, and would love to go back one day, but stay for longer next time so I can try more of the local food!

In the middle of everything and that's a good thing ...

Great location as it allows you to access multiple tube locations. Additionally, it is in close proximity of many bars , restaurants , etc. for easy access to meals and nightlife. And lastly, Sam is extremely detail oriented and will make you feel welcomed upon arrival. Will stay here again on my next trip.

We had a lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in this flat on Goodge Street in the heart of London’s very hip Fitzrovia area.

Let me begin with the neighborhood. Fitzrovia is a happening part of London with great pubs and restaurants. It’s also convenient to 2 tube stations which makes getting around London very easy.

Samantha, our landlady was a delight and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I especially valued her reminder about crossing streets in a country where cars drive on the left side.

The flat itself is as advertised, clean and cozy. We loved staying in the heart of things.

One thing you may want to consider if you have mobility issues: The apartment is on the third floor and there’s no elevator.

Great stay!

My 21-year-old daughter and I spent a week in Samantha's flat in September 2017. We were essentially first time visitors to London; though I had visited before, it was over twenty years ago, so we were completely unfamiliar with the city. Samantha's flat was perfect - it is in a lively neighborhood with restaurants, a grocery store and multiple tube lines near by, yet little to no street noise in the apartment itself. It is in walking distance to major tourist destinations like the British Museum, Covent Garden, SOHO and Chinatown. The flat itself is sunny, clean and perfect for two people, with room to spread out, a little kitchen (it was stocked with dish washing liquid, instant coffee, sugar), and a small washing machine (no dryer). We were lucky enough to check in early and out late; Samantha connected with me in advance with detailed directions getting to the flat from Heathrow, and met us upon our arrival, with very helpful information and advice about the apartment and the city. A great stay in every way.

A conveniently located flat.

We really enjoyed our 12 night stay at Samantha's. The apartment was conveniently located to the tube, restaurants and attractions. While the kitchen was small, it was well stocked. We weren't cooking a lot, so it wasn't a problem for us. The bedroom was generously sized and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was we were aware of the music from the club in the basement. The music quieted down around midnight. Outside of that, the apartment was very quiet, especially considering the amount of pedestrian traffic on Goodge Street. While it wasn't a problem for us (in our mid 60's), the apartment is on the third floor (two flights up), so it may not be appropriate for people with mobility issues.
