Just a few feet from the lagoon, you’ll get a bird’s eye view of nature’s best on Kiawah. The screened porch and deck with gas grill offer the perfect setting for enjoying the view. This cottage is particularly well-suited to large and extended families, having a 2nd story loft with three twin beds, in addition to the two bedrooms and baths on the main floor. It boasts flat screen TVs in the living room and both main bedrooms, as well as new carpet in 2015. The main living area has nice hardwood floors, is very clean and comfortable, and has everything you’ll need to get perfect vacation underway. Internet/WIFI enabled.

Kitchen was completely renovated in winter 2017 with new cabinets, countertops and appliances.

All Greenslake Cottages are situated in a quiet, tucked away location in the West Beach Village, and in close proximity to many of Kiawah’s most treasured sights and activities. They provide a larger floor plan than other 2 bedroom villas on the island, and are single story, so there are no units above or below them.

We purchased our cottage on Kiawah Island in summer of 2005, and I began renting it on VRBO during the weeks we were not able to enjoy Kiawah ourselves. In 2007, a friend on nearby Seabrook Island asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner. Mother/Daughter escape!

This cottage was awesome! My daughter and I had a great girls week away together and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place!

The bedrooms are comfy and spacious, bathrooms updated and perfect for us, the kitchen nicely equipped and beautiful update, large tv and comfy sitting area, and the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon out back was so relaxing!

Would rent again for sure:))

Great location and view!

We really enjoyed a relaxing stay at this Greenslake Cottage. The lagoon view was very nice (our puppies enjoyed it too). The house was clean and appeared to be well managed. Susie checked in with us and let us know she was there if needed though the only negative thing we experienced was spotty wireless (was not a big enough deal to bother her at the time though I'm sure she would have done what she could although I suspect it was a provider issue). It was a short walk to the beach, pool, and the Straw Market where you can eat or gift shop. Would visit again.

Lovely cottage overlooking peaceful lagoon.

This cottage has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. It is a short 7 minute walk to the beach. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is also dog friendly which is a nice bonus.

Convenient, pretty location & dog friendly

We've stayed all over Kiawah and Seabrook over the past 20 years. We love to cook together, and were very pleased to find the owners have thoughtfully outfitted the kitchen with a variety of cooking utensils and cook/bakeware (even a water bowl for your pup). The lagoon location is not only beautiful, it is convenient walking distance to the beach, pool, and trails, and biking distance to Fresh Fields. Plus, we enjoyed evenings on the screened-in porch. Autumn season is quieter on Kiawah; nearly everyone we met had their dog(s) with them, making it a great time to bring ours so he could enjoy the beach. We chose this rental based on its size, location, and it being dog-friendly. This cottage was the perfect size for our family of four + Papillon.

We liked the cottage and loved the location

We found the cottage to be adequate for our family's size and needs. Everyone loved the quiet cul-de-sac location and lagoon view. Convenient access to the pool, beach and Straw Market. We've stayed on Governor's Dr. and in Ocean Green and the drive to Freshfields is longer than you'd think. This location was very convenient, so we spent more time doing fun stuff instead of being in the car all the time. The kids loved riding their bikes in the neighborhood, and the dog was very happy and comfortable as well. Only negatives: the kitchen was under stocked for any real cooking, we saw lots of nasty spiders in the bedrooms, and the cottage may have been empty the week prior, as it did not seem to have been freshly cleaned. It was certainly neat and in good order, but there was mold/mildew in the bathrooms and the cottage had a strong musty smell upon arrival. We had a small issue with the gas grill, which Susie quickly resolved. The handyman arrived and also corrected an issue with the toilet in the master being loose. Response time was very good! The rental process was also a breeze and Susie was very easy to work with. We would definitely consider staying in this location again.
