I would recommend this property as a lovely place to stay.well maintained and looked after by the owner.stander of care was very high and welcoming.lots of information about the island from the owner .really enjoyed our holiday.willcertainly recommend it to my friends and family.
A very comfortable villa which is beautifully furnished.
We would definitely consider a return.
Eleanor was incredibly helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Our third year running to Elena Villa and loved every day we spent there. The villa has had a makeover ( not that it needed it ) painted inside and out, new hob and oven, new fridge freezer and the excellent addition of large ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. We don"t think you'll find better in the same price
range which is why we're already thinking of returning again next year.
Fantastic villa, equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay on Kefalonia. Spotlessly clean and well managed by Eleanor, the pool and gardens were attended to each day before we surfaced, so this was completely unobtrusive.
Don't be put off by the proximity to the airport, even in August there are only a few planes a day and you barely hear them.
The villa and pool are private despite being located in the small town of Sarlatta, which is a short drive from the slightly busier Lakithra. Here you can find good value Tavernas that provide better food than most of the ones in the more touristy areas - and provide much better value too. Try the pork Giro's from Obelix - 2 euros for a take away meal that will put any UK take away to shame.
This is a villa that is even better in reality that the pictures suggest, we had a wonderful stay there and would thoroughly recommend it.
We never go to the same place twice and we most def never go to the same place 3 times but have already planned our third trip to Villa Elena for 2014.
Just thinking about being there again seems to make the stresses and strains of life a little easier to bare knowing that we shall return
Peace and quiet, privacy, space, luxury, well managed, comfortable, relaxing, beautiful, convenient, relaxing.............we can't wait.
Villa was easy to find and Eleanor met us there to hand over the keys. A welcome pack was provided which was much appreciated. Everything is very well kept and clean and we both felt totally relaxed and at home the whole time. The pool is lovely and the villa is very private with all mod cons. Plenty of towels, crockery etc are provided, with 3 separate bedrooms, but we enjoyed having the place to ourselves and loved it so much, have already booked to return next year. Highly recommended.
