Experience the unique Sanibel Island lifestyle while staying in our beautiful, Gulf-front condo. Whether it is shelling on the white sands of the Gulf just steps away or biking on the miles of bike trails right out the front door, you will find what you are looking for to relax and have fun. This beautifully appointed and updated condo has it all – top floor, spectacular view of the Gulf, steps away from the private beach, private heated pool and more.

Our Gulf Beach condo is equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas, sand buckets and shovels and everything you need to enjoy the beach. Or just lounge on the lanai and feel the Gulf breeze while watching the dolphins play off-shore. If you like to cook, the newly remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops, large island and all stainless appliances is for you. Of course one of our favorite activities is trying the Island's many restaurants featuring varied prices and cuisine.

The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath with a tiled walk-in shower, while the guest bedroom is fitted with two twin beds and an adjoining newly tiled bath.

Our condo is great for a romantic getaway or fun with the whole family. Located at the quiet East End of Sanibel, this exclusive 14-unit complex is just minutes away by bike, foot or car to boutique shopping, an eclectic range of restaurants, laid-back art galleries, live theater, first-run movies or the natural wonders of the island.

Sanibel has been named one of the top three shelling destinations in the country by Travel and Leisure and was ranked number one Florida beach by U.S. News and World Report.

About Rebecca Cosentino

Our family has been traveling to Sanibel since the early 80's and we just cannot stay away. Whether it is relaxing on the lanai and watching the sunset, strolling the beach looking for shells or riding bikes down the miles of bike trails, everyone can find something to enjoy. Every time we visit, the beach has something new to discover.

Why Rebecca Cosentino chose Sanibel Island

Gulf Beach is truly unique, with only 14 units and so close to the beach. The immaculate private pool and the under building parking made this complex the one for us. Right across the street is dock access to an inland waterway for a quiet paddle. We have stayed in a number of condos on Sanibel, but none offered the feel of home away from home as this one did.

Wonderful condo in relaxing Sanibel

Our family stayed in this beautiful condo last week. Every room is decorated so nicely and the condo is well stocked with kitchen essentials, linens, and beach accessories. The kitchen was updated last year and there are two updated tiled showers (one with a tub). There are TV's in each bedroom, with a huge flat screen in the living room (with a DVD player). The king bed is extremely comfortable and the lanai was nice for breakfasts and enjoying the beach view. All floors are tiled, making for easy clean up. Having a washer/dryer in unit was convenient and having access to wireless was nice. The complex only has 14 units and was quiet during our week.

The storage area for the unit has plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, fishing equipment, some beach toys, and shelling nets/basket. We shelled every night, mostly along the beach in front of the complex.

There is an elevator in the middle of the complex, making unloading and loading easy. There is a reserved parking space under the complex for this unit. If you have a SUV with a car top carrier though, you may have to remove it to park underneath. There are several uncovered guest spots as well. The pool is nice and well kept and there's an area near the pool for washing off all your sandy stuff.

We rented bikes for the week and enjoyed riding them along all the paths. The bike path along Gulf Drive - where this complex is located - is less crowded (with other bikes and cars) than the path along Periwinkle, so if you have a young child who is a bit unsure on the bike, I recommend using the Gulf Drive path. The complex is close to the Lighthouse Cafe (good lunch and breakfast), Gramma Dot's (great lunch and dinner), and Pinnichio's (excellent ice cream). Also very close to the lighthouse. You can easily walk or bike to these. It was also an easy ride to the "busier" part of the island with more shops and restaurants (our 9-year old had no problem biking to the area up by Billy's Bikes, which is about 3 miles round trip). We like staying on this end of the island as it is less crowded but still close to everything.

Another great trip to Sanibel in a beautiful condo!
