Fabulous Fairfield with Absolute Charm and Appeal wraps it up when describing this charming home. Nestled on a Quiet Street just a few blocks from Dallas Road Beach area, this Newly Constructed house retains the charm of a much older home.

It is Thoughtful Design that makes this such an Amazing Rental. Details such as the Original Mantelpiece that surrounds the Gas Fireplace combined with the Stainless Steel Appliances and Marble Counter tops throughout make this a very special place.

Occupied by the owners for 3 months of the year, it has been Equipped to Satisfy the Most Discriminating.

Cook Street Village is a bustling little neighbourhood located to the East. Full of wonderful shops, services and restaurants; it’s THE place to spend a leisurely afternoon with a hot cup of coffee and a good book in a beautiful setting.

It’s also just a short stroll to Beacon Hill Park and the ocean.

Two Bedrooms feature comfortable Queen and Full size beds with Fine Linens and Desks in each bedroom. The Ensuite Bath has a Full Size Stall Shower with Beautiful Marble Countertops. The Second Bath has the same beautiful sink and a Tub/Shower and it is located just adjacent to the second bedroom, practically an ensuite. Laundry facilities are located at the end of the hallway. High speed internet is included.

French Doors open off of the living room onto a Gated Patio that wraps around the side to your side entrance gate. It is through these doors that you can take in a bit of Early Sunset as the skies turn from blue to pink, purple, orange, and more. The Carport is hidden in the back of the house, which allows you to enter through the back door straight into the back hall leading into the kitchen. The front door is on the south side of the house and enters into a small foyer with the living room on the left and the kitchen/dining area to your right.

We are a retired couple from Ottawa and we bought this home to live in when we come to Victoria in the winter time.

Why Liz Van Cleave chose Victoria

We love the location as it is convenient to everything you need. We love being able to walk to the beach on Dallas Road. It is a 10-15 minute walk to The Inner Harbour and the markets in Cook Street Village are just a couple of blocks. There is a quaint neighbourhood park one block down and our friends live nearby as well. We can live like locals and be close to the best of the tourist scene as well.

What makes this townhome unique

This is a first level home, no stairs. There is door of of the carport to bring your groceries inside in short order. There are two patios, one in front and one on the side. You can enjoy a nice sunset sky from the one in front and you can BBQ to your heart's content on the side patio. We enjoy the spacious bathrooms with their lovely vanities topped with marble as in the kitchen. The fireplace with the original mantle from the house that used to stand here give the living room a warm and comfortable feel.

This is a wonderful residential neighbourhood, close enough to walk to everything downtown. Cook Street Village is close by as well as Beacon Hill Park. The Moss Street Market is a very popular spot from April -October and it is just a few blocks away. Wonderful, peaceful location.

Fabulous Fairfield is a wonderful spot in the ever charming neighbourhood known as Fairfield. Fairfield has Dallas Road with the water and the mountains as its southern border, downtown as its western border, and Rockland and Oak Bay as its Eastern border. What remains is Cook Street Village.

PAYMENT An advance payment of 50% of the rental rate is required to reserve the desired dates. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. Payments outside of Canada may be made in the form of credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) or bank transfers. Bank money orders, cashier’s cheques or personal cheques are payment options (for Canadians only) payable to Victoria Prime. Cheques must be secured by a credit card authorization while in route. Email transfers (Canadian banks only) can be sent to The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due sixty (60) days before your arrival date. All payments are in CANADIAN DOLLARS. All reservations will be charged a Booking Fee.
CREDIT CARD AGREEMENT Guests must provide credit card details as a guarantee of payment to Victoria Prime. Guests accept all terms and conditions of the rental agreement and accept all liability for rent and charges related to property rental, as well as any damage beyond normal wear and tear during the term of the rental. Guests understand that these costs will be charged to the credit card provided. In the absence of another payment agreement, guests authorize Victoria Prime to charge the credit card provided for payment of these items. The guest whose credit card is on file alone is liable for all payments and damages on a reservation and is fully responsible for the full reservation rent and charges.
CANCELLATIONS A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be refunded less a $50 admin fee. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent, deposit or cleaning fee. However, if we are able to re-rent the property for the dates cancelled, we will be happy to refund all or any part of that.
