This 3 bedroom / 3 bath multi-level end unit has been fully remodeled in 2017. It is the perfect home base for the perfect vacation with plenty of space and comfort for your entire group!
LOCATION – Winterpoint townhomes are ideally situated close to the slopes and downtown Breckenridge. You are only two blocks away from the Snowflake Lift, the Breckenridge Free Ride Shuttle on Four O’Clock Rd and the Blue River Plaza. It’s just a three block walk to charming Main St. where you can enjoy shopping, dining and nightlife.
AMENITIES – This well-appointed townhome has everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. The dining area and kitchen have upgraded lighting and flooring throughout with a gorgeous gourmet kitchen that features an eat-in island, granite countertops, new stainless appliances and cookware and warm cherry cabinetry. The living space includes a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings,2 couches, oversized leather chair with ottoman, massive gas fireplace and 65” flat-screen television with Comcast cable and streaming media. All three of the remodeled bathroom have heated floors. The kids will love the bunkroom located right off the kitchen, while the two bedrooms located in the upper level offer plenty of space and privacy for the rest of your group. There is a private heated garage with lots of space to store your gear. Guests can enjoy the heated pools and hot tubs at the Upper Village Common area located just a short walk down the path right outside of the property.

I will start with the positives. Close to Four O'Clock lift for skiers, heated tile floors, and nicely updated finishes.
This property is NOT super close to the communal hot tub. You have to walk up a large hill of ungroomed snow, then about 2 blocks. This was not good for the 2 seniors in our group and small children (2 and 4 y/o) in our group but fine for the parents. We ended up driving our group to the hot tubs, one which was broken, the other one we shared with a dozen people. If a nice hot tub is important to your group, stay somewhere else.
The kitchen had a few issues. First, the ice maker did not work at all and there were no ice trays. All of the knobs on the oven were loose and kept falling off. Sadly, the kitchen was equipped with very cheap pans and knives. I wish the owners would have spent an additional $300 and gotten even mediocre pans and knives. We brought food to cook everyday and ended up baking everything b/c the sauce pans and frying pans were so bad.
Beds were comfy but pillows were awful, so bring your own if you stay here. Also, heat distribution is VERY uneven throughout the condo. It is an extremely vertical property (3 floors straight up). The top floor was roasting at all times while the other floors were either comfortable or became freezing if we turned down the heat to relieve the people on the top floor. Again, the unit is very vertical, not ideal for seniors or kids. Also of note, there is no bathtub in the condo, just showers. This was rough for our kids.
Thank you for your review and for your feedback on your experience staying at Winterpoint 40. This is a great townhome that has been recently remodeled. The location near the Snowflake Lift is hard to beat!
Regarding the specific items you mentioned, the community pool and hot tubs are about a 100 yard walk on a path just outside of the townhome. During the winter months the path is snow packed. It is also accessed by either driving or walking around the block which is about a quarter of a mile. Since your stay, the HOA has fixed the second hot tub and it is fully functional.
We are sorry for the malfunctioning ice maker and for the loose knobs in the kitchen. They have since been fixed and we would have been more than happy to adjust them while you were in town, had we known. The pots and pans are Cuisinart stainless steel and new as of early this ski season. We will have someone inspect them to make sure they are in great shape for the next guests.
The feedback on the pillows is welcome and we will look into these, as well. There is a bathtub in the second bathroom upstairs and can be seen in the photos of the unit.

We stayed here for Oktoberfest and everything was great! It has enough room for 8 people to stay there. The location to Main Street was perfect. The floors in the bathrooms were heated. Ample parking options available.
Pleasantly surprised by the recent remodeling. Thought I was in the wrong condo because the pictures had not been updated. Love the proximity to downtown. Lots of room for the family and great kitchen.
Winter Point 40
PERFECT location!! 5 min walk to the ski lift (and rental storage) , 10 minutes to town!! House was fully equipped and comfortable. Will be back!!!
Great Summer week in Breck !!
Check in was easy.
2 Car garage was nice. All new appliances so cooking and cleaning was easy. Plenty of room for the 5 people we had with room to spare. Living room area was great for playing games in the evening. Nice TV if you wanted to watch a movie. TV's in the bedrooms were great for checking news in the morning.
Location was perfect for biking or running from the condo. Whether you are headed up the mountain or down the paved trails from Breckenridge to Frisco. 7 minute walk to the gondola if you are going up to Peak 8 fun park. 3 minute walk to Main street if you are going shopping or out to eat.
Unit was clean and had washer and dryer if you needed.
Only issue we had while there was management company sent a worker over to remove the deck furniture. The worker walked in the unit through the garage without knocking, when he could have removed the deck furniture without even entering the unit. Worker appeared startled that there were people in the unit even though he had to walk past our cars in the garage. We were told the furniture would be replaced, but it was not replaced during our stay so, we were no longer able to enjoy the beautiful weather from the deck. Did call the management company and they were very apologetic.
Would definitely rent this unit again!!
Nice property & great location.
The house was as pictured on the website. Very nice updated kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen had everything you need. 5 minute walk to downtown visitors center and 2 minute walk to swimming and hot tubs. The only complaint we had was the beds in the master suite and upstairs bedroom. There was only 1 mattress on each bed and they were very uncomfortable. It felt like shredded foam as you would sink almost to the floor. I slept on top of the comforter just to have a little support. Master bed was sagging. The best mattresses were on the bunk beds. If you have a person in your party who can't navigate steps, be advised there are 3 flights of stairs.
Would stay there again if the beds were upgraded.
