This amazing fully furnished Bozeman vacation rental home that sleeps 10 comfortably throughout five bedrooms, including two master suites, is an ideal location for those looking to fish world renowned rivers, ski fresh powder, hike a variety of trails, soak in natural hot springs or to just get away from it all. Each master suite hosts a king bed, tiled shower, dual vanities and walk-in closets. One master suite is located on the main floor and the second is located upstairs. Three additional bedrooms are all located upstairs. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other two contain two twin beds each. Two twin beds are extra long. The open concept main living area features a cozy gas fireplace, 9' ceilings, recessed lighting and hardwood floors. The living and dining room transition into a sophisticated kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, breakfast bar and dishwasher. An upstairs bonus room, accessed by a staircase off of the kitchen area, is perfect for playing pool, watching movies or just getting away from it all. This home is perfect for entertaining without feeling crowded. Also included with this lovely home is a one car attached garage, BBQ grill and a washer and dryer. A high chair and pack & play will be on site for those traveling with young children. The exterior grounds are meticulously landscaped and include a fenced-in yard, back patio and covered front porch to enjoy throughout the day. Sitting across the street from a well-kept community park with a trail system, small pond, pavilions and a play area, this home is perfectly situated within Bozeman's premier Valley West neighborhood with easy access to downtown Bozeman, N 19th, Huffine Lane, grocery stores, restaurants and more. This home was perfectly appointed for our extremely diverse clan, private space for every one! We really enjoyed the location, and how CLEAN it was! Thank you for having us here. This is where we would love to stay again! Everyone from the youngest babies (3 month old twins) to the eldest grandfather truly enjoyed this house! Our 5 year old enjoyed the park, our musician made use of the upstairs bonus room for practicing, and our chef's made great use of the beautifully appointed kitchen! Thanks again!

This house was perfect for our extended family. I chose it because it has real beds for 10 without any of us having to sleep in bunk beds or sleep sofas, but discovered so many other great features. The location is perfect, the dining table is ample for all of us to eat and play games together, there are three gathering spaces for separate activities, and everything is beautifully done. Our favorite space was the room over the garage where the early risers or late night TV watchers could gather without concern that their noise would disturb others. I personally loved the walking trail across the street, which extends around a pretty pond and makes for a great daily walk. I highly recommend this home for any groups that don't need more than one bedroom on the main floor (four of the bedrooms are upstairs). We were pleasantly surprised by the features of this beautiful house and don't believe we could have chosen better.

Beautiful Log Home but with a contract twist

We stayed at Two Bear Lair from June 20 – 25, 2015. This beautiful log home has a wonderful location and a great layout. We enjoyed our stay – the inviting back patio was a quiet place to view the large yard and enjoy the grill. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-appointed.

There were some unusual requests by the renting firm:

*use only the side door – not the front or back doors

*take shoes off – don’t wear them in the house

*leave suitcases in the car or the garage – don’t bring them in the house

Before our arrival, we paid a security fee of $500 and upon leaving, we completed the check sheet of activities in the provided three-ring binder thinking we would get our whole deposit refunded. We cleaned the kitchen, stripped the beds, took out the garbage,…but was still charged $150 (after negotiating, they refunded $50.00 more) for the usual and normal cleaning that is done after renters leave. We asked what was done and the activities were dusting, vacuuming, washing the sheets and remaking the beds. The contract we signed did say we would be charged for cleaning the home. We assumed that if we completed the list provided in their three-ring binder, that we would get the security fee refunded. Know that if you rent this beautiful home, you will be charged for cleaning it when you leave. This is not considered part of the rental fee – it is in addition to it. This is like being charged for the maids cleaning your motel room after you leave it. This is a confusing practice. Why is the cleaning fee not just included in the rental charges?

Perfect family gathering!

Exceeded expectations which were high. Perfect space for large multi-generational gathering for family of 9 with bedrooms on first and second floor and separate bathrooms. Great big kitchen allowed us to gather for meals and enjoy some home cooking. Nice park out the front door to take a walk. Quiet location. Plenty of street parking for all of us who drove in. Highly recommended and well worth it.

We had a great stay in a great place!

We really enjoyed being able to stay at the cabin home. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our time there as well as our time out exploring. We found it was in a great location for going in any direction or to get to any destination we chose. It was very comfortable and cozy too. We will be sure to go right back there next year.
