We are a local east bay and San Francisco family that fell in love with Sonoma and bought a second home there. It is one of our favorite get away spots and are happy to share our home and Sonoma reccomendations with you!
The Owner purchased this house in 2012
The lush creekside backyard, pool and garden are amazing.
Villa Sonoma is a great retreat from city life- but is also walking distance to Sonoma Square and wonderful food/drink on the way to town. It is the best of country living with easy accessibility.
We booked for a family getaway for my wife's birthday. We had a fantastic time and enJoyed the outdoor living space/pool the entire time. The house was so nice and fit our needs perfectly. The owners were so easy to work with and truly took care of all of our needs. We look forward to staying there again in the future!!!!
Easy to find, and once you walk through the front door, you're in a private world with perfect privacy. Lovely garden, with flowers and edible landscaping for your use -- and all watered by a well, so there's no drought guilt. Plenty of room to sit and socialize, inside and out. The pool and poolside environment were sensational. Dog-friendly, although quiet dog-walking options from the house are a bit limited. Only two bedrooms, so it's best for families if you have a large group -- we had as many as 7 adults and were OK. The Sonoma Market, restaurants, parks, and Sonoma Square are all in easy reach. This house also would be great as a couple's romantic getaway, and my wife and I hope to return for that reason. Owners were great to work with.
Great location! Walking distance to downtown Sonoma with restaurants, shops, tasting rooms and hikes. Enjoyed relaxing at the pool after visiting wineries. House was cool even during the hot days. Had everything we needed for our stay. Perfect for our adult family of 6. The owners were wonderful.
Went up to Sonoma for a long weekend with a group of friends and everyone absolutely loved staying here! We hung out poolside/BBQed during the day and then went into Napa each night. The house/pool/linens were all very clean and the owners had provided everything you could need - extra towels, kitchen basics, wifi, etc. Plus, they were very pleasant to work with - both before and after our stay. We would totally stay here again!
This house was great for our girls weekend away, the pool was pretty warm so we could swim at night, the house was clean and cozy and was a great layout for friends or families. The house had everything we needed and was close to town and close to wineries. Reserving this property was easy and the manager was incredibly responsive and pleasant to work with. We'll definitely look this property up next time we're headed to wine country!
We rented this darling home for a long weekend to tour Sonoma's wineries. Everything was exactly as described. The home is truly fully-equipped...we wanted for nothing! The location is close enough to town without having the noise or traffic. Located in a very quite neighborhood, we enjoyed walking the streets close by and enjoying the fabulous yards, all abloom with the largest roses I've ever seen. There were 4 adults and we had plenty of room. The pool was a pleasure in the evening as we enjoyed the local food and wine. I know everyone in our group would certainly return as well as recommend this home for anyone taking a trip to Sonoma!
