Charming and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay for our family. Deb and Dave were friendly and accommodating. They were generous to allow our children play with their trampoline and swing, which was helpful in entertaining our children. They were most accommodating with our dog. The downstairs residence was charming and cozy. The property they live on is gorgeous. It was close enough to Flagstaff to make it quick and easy to get to town. Overall, we had a great experience while in Flagstaff and our stay at the property added a lot to that experience. Moreover, we couldn't have gotten a better experience for the price available to us in Flagstaff. I would highly recommend it.

It was away from the city but easy access to Flagstaff. The owners were very helpful. I would definitely go back or recommend it to others

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

The property was beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for with hiking trails directly behind the property. Our family loved spending our days exploring and building shelters in the woods. We even ran into a herd of elk! The tavern right across the street had good food and great service. Very short drive into Flagstaff for nicer dinner choices if wanted. The studio itself had everything we needed and the queen bed was very comfortable. The only complaint was from our boys who said the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. I'd still come again, but bring a blow up mattress for them instead. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

LOVED IT!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this adorable studio during a trip with our daughter for a NAU tour and this place was super cute. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needd for the weekend. The mini kitchen was great for the light meals we prepared. There was a DVD player, and an assortment of DVD's (however, we brought our own) and board games and a foosball table. The home itself was great, with a woods and trails right behind the house that we went on for a light hike. We were only about 10 minutes to town and didn't mind the drive at all. The owers are really nice and even delivered some salt in the morning after I left a message via VBRO email that we couldn't find the salt. We will definitely stay here again if it's available the next time we come to Flagstaff!

Nice property at the edge of the forest.

  • 3 of 5

The studio apartment was very nice and in a great location, away from the city on the edge of the forest but only a short 7 mile drive from Flagstaff proper. As mentioned in other reviews, the kitchen is small but was sufficient for our needs. Internet service was slow but ok for surfing the web but Netflix shows had to pause at times to buffer.

The only drawback was that the apartment was under their main home and we could hear them walking above us. This was especially loud one of the mornings when they were using the vacuum cleaner while we were trying to sleep in. If you plan to be out and about most of the time then this may not be an issue for you. Everything else about the place was great.

Perfect weekend get-away in the Pines

  • 5 of 5

This place is a little gem. It's clean and has all the amenities. The bed if comfortable, and the place is well located in the Mountainaire area. Easy to get into town, or to hit the trails. It's a lovely and quiet place. The owners are very helpful and timely in their communication. We attended a concert at the Pepsi Amphitheater which is just a couple miles away. Will keep this property in mind for future trips. Great value too.
