Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

The property was beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for with hiking trails directly behind the property. Our family loved spending our days exploring and building shelters in the woods. We even ran into a herd of elk! The tavern right across the street had good food and great service. Very short drive into Flagstaff for nicer dinner choices if wanted. The studio itself had everything we needed and the queen bed was very comfortable. The only complaint was from our boys who said the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. I'd still come again, but bring a blow up mattress for them instead. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

We stayed in this adorable studio during a trip with our daughter for a NAU tour and this place was super cute. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needd for the weekend. The mini kitchen was great for the light meals we prepared. There was a DVD player, and an assortment of DVD's (however, we brought our own) and board games and a foosball table. The home itself was great, with a woods and trails right behind the house that we went on for a light hike. We were only about 10 minutes to town and didn't mind the drive at all. The owers are really nice and even delivered some salt in the morning after I left a message via VBRO email that we couldn't find the salt. We will definitely stay here again if it's available the next time we come to Flagstaff!

Nice property at the edge of the forest.

  • 3 of 5

The studio apartment was very nice and in a great location, away from the city on the edge of the forest but only a short 7 mile drive from Flagstaff proper. As mentioned in other reviews, the kitchen is small but was sufficient for our needs. Internet service was slow but ok for surfing the web but Netflix shows had to pause at times to buffer.

The only drawback was that the apartment was under their main home and we could hear them walking above us. This was especially loud one of the mornings when they were using the vacuum cleaner while we were trying to sleep in. If you plan to be out and about most of the time then this may not be an issue for you. Everything else about the place was great.

Perfect weekend get-away in the Pines

  • 5 of 5

This place is a little gem. It's clean and has all the amenities. The bed if comfortable, and the place is well located in the Mountainaire area. Easy to get into town, or to hit the trails. It's a lovely and quiet place. The owners are very helpful and timely in their communication. We attended a concert at the Pepsi Amphitheater which is just a couple miles away. Will keep this property in mind for future trips. Great value too.

Really nice little studio in the forest :-)

  • 5 of 5

Debs place was really nice, clean, and well equipped with kitchen supplies, blankets, towels, lotion, soap, books, movies, games, wifi. All the modern conveniences while still being in the forest. It's a little far from town so if you're looking for nature, this is a great place. If you're going to be spending a lot of time downtown it's about a 15 minute drive. If you love soft comfy beds, you will love it! Unfortunately, I'm in the minority and like my bed as firm as possible (no pillow top for me!) so that was a bit of a downside, but most people will enjoy it. Deb is very easy to communicate with and her dog and my dog got along really well. There is a local tavern literally at the end of the very long driveway, as well as a general store next to it. Otherwise, you have to drive just a bit for anything else. I would definitely like to return in the winter to play in the snow with my dog!

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

There are hiking trails right behind the property, great for taking the dogs for a walk. Place is very dog-friendly. Location is secluded, yet close enough to downtown Flagstaff for dinners and shopping.
