I purchased this lovely condo in 1990, almost 25 years ago. Since then, my family, friends, children, and grandchildren have had many happy times here. We all love swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and browsing the art galleries and shops. We also like to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center and see the spectacular evening show there every year. At the end of the day, we walk down to Kuilima Point to watch the sun set before having dinner at one of the nearby restaurants or at home. We enjoy the area's fine restaurants, but we also love the little cafes and lunch trucks where it is easy to meet people. On Sundays, we attend Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Waimea, and stay to visit with the parishioners. Everything is so close to the condo that we always have a relaxing vacation here.
There is so much to see, do, and learn on the North Shore that cannot be found in the standard guidebooks to Oahu that I wrote a 355-page guidebook myself. The title is "Oahu's North Shore, A Guide To Its Treasures And Beauties." You will find a copy of the Guidebook and a Guestbook with information about the condo, the menus of all the local restaurants, and the House Rules of our condo association on the coffee table in the living room.

The condos at Kuilima are by far the nicest place to stay on the North Shore. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and impeccably maintained. There are 3 swimming pools, tennis courts, and barbecue and picnic facilities. We have 24-hour security and a nice, quiet environment. From our lanai, we have a lovely view of the golf course and Koolau mountains, with a little lawn where children can play safely when we come back from the beach. The condo is situated perfectly to catch the trade winds, so although we have air conditioning in the bedrooms we never use it because the tropical breeze is so pleasant. We can walk to the beach, stables, restaurants, and other facilities of the Turtle Bay Resort. At the same time, we can get to the beaches, restaurants and shops on the North Shore and Windward Shore in just a few minutes. The location is ideal.
We remodeled the entire condo several years ago and spared no expense. The kitchen has lovely maple cabinets, silestone counters, and GE Profile appliances. We installed a gorgeous travertine floor in the living, dining, kitchen, and lanai. The bathrooms are also travertine, and there is a spa tub in the downstairs bath. The living room furniture is top-grade Lazy Boy upholstery. Hawaiian art decorates all the rooms. There is a 55-inch Samsung Smart TV and high speed internet. It is a very pleasant place.
The lovely people who arrived immediately after the tenants who submitted the negative review sent these emails during their stay telling us how nice everything was:

I just wanted to tell you how much we are enjoying out stay here in #161.... We have a family reunion next year in July and would like to come back to the same place.
I am going to ask to stay here again. We loved it and hope to stay for 3 weeks this time. I have stayed in the condos at least 7 times and yours was the best one.
Aloha from Cali-nei,
I was drawn in by the title as the Most Luxurious Condo at Turtle Bay and it is true. I have stayed in the condos at Turtle Bay a number of times over the years and this one was the by far the best and exceeded our expectations. Well built and very comfortable. The entire process from booking to checking in and out was smooth. We did not need to contact Patti at all. The next door neighbor was such a delight and helpful if we had any questions. Location was perfect that we did not need to run the air conditioners. We enjoyed and appreciated the high end appliances, faucets, marble and travertine tiles, dad especially loved the 55" tv and I was pleased at all the little things that was condo was supplied with...I needed a bandaid and neosporin and found it in the first aid kit. I just cannot say enough. We just felt at home. We stayed for only 2 weeks and plan to come back next year hopefully for 3 weeks. I highly recommend this condo to anyone that appreciates comfort and quality.
Since this was our first booking with VRBO we were a little nervous! Upon arriving at the condo we were immediately impressed with the grounds - what a gorgeous place! The condo itself is just as pictured. We walked in the door and our three 14 year olds were so happy, and that is no small feat! The condo is well equipped with everything you need to feel at home and more! Patricia was great to work with and the whole process went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend booking this condo if you were traveling to the North Shore.
We loved staying here! The location was wonderfully situated to enjoy Turtle Bay and the surrounding cities along the North Shore. The condo was clean and well appointed. It suited our needs perfectly with six adults in our family, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit!
The property is in perfect shape and even better than the pictures. The location is in the Turtle Bay resort which is perfect for a stay on the North Shore. You are close to everything and could stay there for a week and never be bored. The property easily accommodated our family of five and we were so impressed with all the things that are provided with the house. Our only regret is that we wish we would have stayed more nights there. The enthusiastic thumbs way up!
We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the property. There were plenty of beach toys, snorkeling gear, and towels for all of us. It's in a great location and has friendly neighbors. The owners were wonderful at communicating with us and made sure our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again.
I have never booked private accomodation before so was a little apprehensive but there was no need. The condo was spacious enough for the 5 of us, was spotlessly clean and all the furnishings & fit out were in really good condition. The kitchen appliances were really big and every item you could possibly need was in the kitchen and details of where to find what you needed were provided. The golf resort was really well maintained, the gardens recieved daily maintenance, the pools and barbeques were always clean. Security were always nearby checking that everything was in order and we felt really relaxed, safe and comfortable during our 5 night stay. We walked to Turtle Bay Resort daily for swimming, snorkeling, cocktails and dining, it was less than 10 minutes walk, even when carrying the beach equipment supplied at the condo. The property is right on the golf course and at the front row closest to the highway. We were there during Benzai Pipeline so there were lots of traffic passing by which we could hear sitting in the lanai but did not disturb us inside. It was about 30 minutes from Hale'iwa which we visited a few times during our stay.
We loved the attention to detail the owners provided with the guidebooks on everything from where things were in the condo to resturants, shops and attractions they recommended - even their favourite dishes. The beach chairs, towels and beach toys were a very welcome addition.
We would have liked charcoals for the BBQ, being Aussies we are used to gas and bought our groceries to BBQ and never thought of charcoal! However this was our fault as it was in the owners details. Some may also want a second TV.
Would I stay here again ? Absolutely and would definitely recommend the condo and the area to my friends. What a welcome change from Waikiki.
