Terrific Lake House Rental

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay at the High Lake Lodge. This rental is terrific for multiple families staying in the Traverse City, Michigan area. The lodge consisted of a duplex along with a basement area. The duplex was great for when the different families wanted to have time with their own family and yet large enough for all members of the group to be together. The three kitchens were very impressive and well stocked with appliances and dishes needed to cook for various types of meals. We highly recommend this wonderful vacation rental.

Very beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

We traveled from the UP to Traverse City for a hockey tournament and stayed at the home. It was simply amazing. Very beautiful location on a private lake. It reminded me of the UP. I will be staying at this property again and really enjoyed everything about it.

Love This Place

  • 5 of 5

We rented the High Lake Lodge this past July with another family and had an amazing time. There was 14 of us and we had more than enough room. The house is so accommodating with the 3 kitchens, basement game room, and all of the outside toys. We also rented a water tramp and jet ski from Jim a local vendor who was the best. Diane and family were so great and made us feel welcome in their amazing home. It is hard to believe they would give up this home anytime of the year. We loved it so much we didn't even go into town as much as we intended. Relaxing and grest memories with family and friends. Can't wait to go back.

lovely gorgeous home

  • 5 of 5

This home exceeded all our expectations and promised amenities. It is a good size home with everything you ever might need. We used the pots, pans, dishes, silverware, paper products, .. and the popcorn machine. We enjoyed the open area of the main floor. There were multiple dinning room tables, and the place didn't feel crowded with 14 of us (which includes 4 young children). Plenty of seats are inside the house and on the beach. The beach is such a delight. Plan on using the campfire. We were not planning on using it, but it turned out to be a very fun activity at night. We also enjoyed playing the games made available on the main floor.

This home is ideal for two families that like some privacy. The two bedrooms are two separate apartments with separate entrances that include private living rooms, kitchens and full bathrooms. The bathroom on the main floor has no shower, so the guests who sleep in the main floor area have to use these full bathrooms on the second floor.

I recommend this vacation home. We had a lovely time. the owner was super helpful and pleasant.

BTW, this property is 15-20 minutes drive from traverse city, and a mile or so away from a grocery store.

Five delightful days!

  • 5 of 5

I was looking for a lodge to accommodate my family and groomsmen for our last of three kids wedding, (our 3 kids all married within a year.....). This place caught my eye.

We all had a blast! Truly as wonderful, and even better that the photos display. The owners hosted our rehearsal dinner, which was so perfect for us, allowing our guests to eat, relax, visit and play! We were exhausted coming from the West coast, and found rejuvenation! So much to see and do all around. So Grateful it was so clean, and comfortable! Hoping for many more trips!

A great home for family and fun!

  • 5 of 5

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren at High Lake Lodge. There was everything we needed for young and old. The home is beautiful and there is easy access and clear instructions to the kitchens, laundry, beach and multiple games for everyone. Our family especially enjoyed the water...swimming, boating, fishing...the kids were delighted to catch fish with their hands. The nightly bond fires on the beach were also a special treat.

The owners were helpful with all of our questions and we were delighted to see the good condition of the home. A very nice place to gather your family and make memories!
