This is a terrific apartment in the heart of Paddington, London just a few minutes walk from Paddington Railway Station (where the Heathrow Express arrives), Edgware Road, Hyde Park etc.

The apartment is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a corner building on an attractive, quiet block. Spread over two floors, it has a spacious, bright living room, a large, eat-in kitchen and two bedrooms on the top floor, a master bedroom and smaller bedroom. In the master bedroom there is a King-size bed from the store Loaf, and in the smaller bedrooms a queen size bed, and there is both a high quality folding bed and an airbed also available. There is both a washer and dryer and wi-fi. The apartment was recently renovated; both the kitchen and bathroom were completely refreshed and a new carpet was laid down.

All the amenities are extreme close: three grocery stores (Tesco's Paddington, Marks and Spencer's food hall) are literally around the corner; Paddington and Edgware Rd. Tube stops are a couple minutes walk; Hyde Park is 4 minutes walk; and the area has numerous restaurants of all kinds nearby. My favourite local places are the Middle Eastern restaurants on Edgware Rd. and the Front Line Club restaurant on Norfolk Place. There are also numerous pubs in the area!

The apartment is privately owned by me, but is professionally managed by a company that specializes in VRBO rentals. They ensure the apartment is immaculate before each rental and any issues during a guest's stay are resolved.

The flat is a great base for a visit to London. Because of the light and space, it's really nice to spend time in, but it's location also couldn't be more central. It's an especially good flat for families, because of its size.

Convenient location and comfortable accommodations

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The owner and the delightful woman who met us with the key were responsive and helpful, and the flat was clean and comfortable. The proximity to Paddington and Edgware Road stations made this spot really convenient for accessing all parts of London. The neighborhood is bustling with options for eating out and shopping. We would stay here again.

Nice as a home base

We stayed here with two teen boys and two adults. It is very centrally located to the subway station and train station. We found good eats in the neighborhood, especially Java U for breakfast, the most delicious croissants! We found the apt comfortable. The staircase is steep, we had no problem but if we were traveling with my parents this wouldn't have been good choice.

We didn't use the kitchen but it was very nice. The manager was so nice to have a few essentials for us in the fridge; milk, bread and jam. It was a very nice touch.

The beds were very comfortable. My teen son tried both the extra beds, the fold away bed and the aerobed. Neither were great, I think the aerobed had a small leak (probably fixed by now) and I think the fold away bed isn't meant from teens. A younger child would have been fine in the foldaway bed. So the boys slept in the second bed together and did fine.

We didn't spend tons of time in the apt but when we did it was home.

Great stay in Bayswater

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay in this charming 2-bedroom apartment. Jasper was very helpful in making the arrangements, and Barbara had the apartment in great shape for our arrival. The location is very convenient to the Tube, restaurants, grocery stores, and Hyde Park. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Family friendly

Nice flat with lots of light and tons of space for our family of 5. We loved having 2 floors and large windows. Location was great - easy access to grocery stores, transportation, restaurants, parks, and sights. Jasper and staff took the time to prep for our arrival, leaving us cookies, milk, bread, and jam. We'd stay again!

Wonderful, cheery place!

This is a great value for couples and small groups seeking to find a suitable base from which to explore London! Check-in was easy with excellent communication between the owner's representative who also explained all the ins and outs of the property, including how to run the dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The home is convenient to two Underground stops and there are plenty of shops, pubs and cafes nearby for sundries, food and drink. The property is clean and airy and there is hardly any street noise with which to contend. I would certainly consider returning to this place in the future!
