Our family created Blanche Manor in 2000. We cut every trail, cleared every pasture, and even built our own home. We love our farm, and take great pride in sharing it with our clients. We have created our ideal life here, and would love to have you be a part of it. Our horseback riding packages are unmatched in safety, beauty, and value. The accomodations on our ranch offer our guests a taste of the mountain ranching life, while respecting its ecosystem and natural beauty. We look forward to seeing you at the ranch soon.
We chose our location to build a life that our family could enjoy and run together. It showcases the natural beauty of Blue Ridge Mountains, while being close to conveniences and culture of Blue Ridge. We are blessed with a location that has outstanding trails for riding, close proximity to all the outdoor activities our clients are looking for, and the peace and serrenty that only open pastures, horses, and farm life can offer.
Our ranch offers fantastic views, private wooded setting, creeks on every boarder, and beautiful pastures filled with horses. Our setting is truly unique. We offer the seclusion of a private ranch, but have endless activities right onsite. We are also so close to all of the adventure activites, such as white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, endless hiking trails, and lakes with boat rentals. You are close enough to Blue Ridge for fine dining and culture, but secluded in the peaceful beauty on our private ranch.
The property surrounding the property was beautiful. The bunkhouse was appealing on the exterior.
The front door would not open or close properly.
The floor inside the door was damaged and weak.
The shower didn't have a door or curtain. Water soaked floor and towels are limited to how many people were registered.
The hot tub wasn't working and I wasn't notified until I received a text message after check in time.
The heat was not turned up in preparation of my arrival (26 degrees outside).
Very drafty and heat didn't work properly.
The refrigerator made sounds all night as if it were about in agony.
I've been coming and staying in the area one weekend every month since 2015. I cannot recommend the bunkhouse at this time, maybe after some tlc.
Second time staying here and loved it Came with best friend and our kids for the weekend and stayed in the bunkhouse and went for a trail ride. It is a serene, quiet escape while also being fun for kids and close to everything. The people who manage everything are friendly and responsive. Highly recommend and will be back! Thank you!
We had a great time. It was exactly what we were looking for, a nice little cabin on a horse farm. Owner has very nice and helpful, and the staff at the barn were great also. Very secluded but safe because it was on a huge private property.
My family enjoyed our stay in the bunkhouse at Blanche Manor! We were very comfortable and had plenty of privacy. The renters of the nearby yurts were only seen and heard minimally, as they utilized the facilities (bathhouses) located on the opposite side of the building. We rode horses, which was well worth the money, and rafted nearby as well. Make sure your vehicle is capable of hills and gravel roads! Perfect spot for a low-maintenance, low-cost mountain getaway!
Property was beautiful, peaceful and clean. I am very pleased I found Blanche Manor. The trail ride we took was great, our guides were great, friendly and very energetic. It was a great place to get away and just listen to nature and relax. My only complaint was the queen bed was very hard, sleeping would have been better if the bed was a little more comfortable. I would definitely come back and maybe next time bring a group with us and stay in the lodge (we stayed in the bunkhouse).
We had a good stay. The kitchen was lightly stocked with basic pot and pans and dishes. The AC worked well. Would've liked cable to watch football in the afternoon. No frills but sufficient, especially for the reasonable cost. My main negative would be that the Double bed was very hard and uncomfortable. My shoulders and neck are killing me after a 2 night stay. Could be an easy fix of a mattress topper or memory foam mattress over the standard mattress.
You will be staying on our private horse ranch. The setting is absolutely beautiful and serene. We are in the heart of the Cohutta Wilderness. Outdoor acitivites are endless in our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountians. We are also only 15 minutes from Blue Ridge, GA, with all of their fantastic dining, live theater, and night life. Our location cannot be beat!
