3BR newly renovated house in South Park walking distance to mall & restaurants
About Tahseen Bock
My husband and I moved to North Carolina from NYC 6 years ago. We now have 3 kids (6 year old twins and a 4 year old) and we are so glad we made the decision to move here. We both went to school in North Carolina (that's where we met!) so it was a little like coming back to where it all started.
Tahseen Bock purchased this House in 2017
Why Tahseen Bock chose Beverly Woods
I guess you can say I never got New York out of my system. The part I loved the most about living in NYC was being able to walk everywhere. That's why I love the location of our house. You can walk to Whole Foods, go grab some wine and dinner with your friends and not have to worry about driving / ubering back. I also love the layout of the house. The split level gives so much privacy and with three kids I need that! The kids can be downstairs in the den playing and my husband could be watching soccer in the bedroom upstairs and I could read in peace in the living room on the main floor. so we can literally all have our own floor! I think that would work well for friends or multiple families travelling together.
What makes this House unique
Besides the location and layout of the house, we love the back yard! It is massive and has two big trees so it gives plenty of shade in the summer. Its a fenced in yard so the kids can play outside safely. We have a brand new grill and a patio table so it's the perfect place to be on a warm night. The best part is, even though you are a 5 min walk to restaurants and bars, our house is on a quiet peaceful street. So you never have to worry about restaurant noise keeping you awake. It feels like you are in suburbia but you are, in fact, in the heart of South Park.

Owner is great, very responsive. Great little house in super location!!!
Quiet, clean house, perfect for families
The house was really cute and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and centrally located. Great place to stay for families - a bag of kids toys & books in the closet was much appreciated!
Spacious family friendly home! Great location!
Spacious home. Well laid out for family needs including a closed off from main living area stairway to upstairs bedrooms which was great due to infant sleep times so rest of family could relax without fear of excessive noise! Large fenced in backyard and patio area . We will definitely book for next family reunion if available!
Nice place in South Park neighborhood
This is a clean, comfortable house in the Charlotte neighborhood of South Park. Southpark shopping is within walking distance. The beds seem to be full-side, maybe queen, so they're a little small for people accustomed to king side beds, but they're reasonably comfortable. The house is spacious with ample seating and the kitchen is nice. The owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay there again.
I am so glad you had a nice stay Breta! South Park is a great location - especially if you like to shop :-) All the beds are queen size but if you are used to king beds at home, its hard to sleep on smaller beds for sure. Thanks again for your stay and I hope to see you on your next visit.
Great location! When back in Charlotte will stay again soon f. Available
We had a great family Christmas and loved the location😊☃️ Everything we needed was provided in the house. Again a reminder we did not have a dog there.
My husband's family lives in Charlotte and we've been staying in hotels for decades. Decided to find a VRBO house and I couldn't be happier! We had a lot more room (our college kid came with us this time), a kitchen, washer & dryer....things we can't get with a hotel. So comfy and clean! And the location was perfect!! My father-in-law is at The Cypress and all of our family is in the Southpark area. It was so convenient to everything and in a beautiful neighborhood. We will definitely be regulars at this house. The owner, Tahseen, was so nice and responsive. I couldn't be happier! And bonus....if we ever need to bring our dog with us, it's pet friendly (although you would never know if from the inside....super clean!). Perfect for us!!
South Park is an upscale neighborhood in Charlotte and has now become one of the largest business districts in the city. There is tons to do! Our house is located in a great area because you can walk to practically everything! Here are some of our favorite places which are either within a 15 min walk or a 5 min drive.
The shops at Piedmont row and Quail Corners have a summer concert series on certain Friday and Saturday evenings which are FREE! Many of the nearby restaurants offer happy hour specials (or 1/2 off wine nights) which is awesome especially since you can walk to most of the places. Our favorite wine bar is Cork Buzz. Very cute, great wines and the food is delicious (and its a 7 min walk from the house).
If you want to get your nails done, Polished in Phillips Place is a solid option. $35 for a mani and pedi and they will even give you a glass of wine. Can't beat it. Philips place also has great boutique shops if you want something other than what is in the Mall. South Park Mall is the largest mall in North Carolina. The big department stores are Nordstrom, Belk, Macys, Neiman Marcus, Dillards.
For a nice dinner out to celebrate a special occasion you can try Dogwoods for Southern Cuisine (7 min walk), The Palm for steak, or Baku for Japanese / Sushi. Baku is one of our favorites although it is very pricey. For a more economical (and very good) sushi place try Yama. Also next door to Yama is a fantastic Mediterranean cafeteria style restaurant called Yafo. Its a great lunch option - just be prepared to wait in line if you get there at noon.
There are also lots of greenways near by where you can go for a walk, run or bike ride. If you are coming with kids, I can also suggest several playgrounds and parks close by.
