Great couple of days.

  • 5 of 5

In spite of the rainy, cold weather, we had a great couple of days. Cottage was near and very comfortable. Nice lake- close for dAy trips to Gaylord and Traverse City. Owner was very friendly and attentive. Would recommend it highly for a good old fashioned Michigan lake vacation.

This is a wonderful place to stay on Manistee Lake near Kalkaska. We had a family get together. We own a place on the Lake which my sister and her family were staying at. With 6 adults and 2 children there wasn't room for myself and our family. This rental worked out great. Just down the road with all the space you could need. We had 4 adults and 3 children. With the unfortunate weather we had enough room to feed all the family here. The place is well stocked with all the cookware, towels and linens you need. The exterior and interior and beautifully decorated. Makes you feel right at home. All my family is think about renting for future get together.

Charming Cottage on the Lake

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property for a long weekend. It was very spacious for our family of 3. The Interior reminded me of home and there was a large selection of books, DVDs and music. The home had a stocked kitchen full of anything (utensils, dishes, pots/pans) you could need to cook a meal. The view out the backside of the cabin was great. It overlooks the lake and there is a pathway that leads to a fire pit and a dock. The water was calm and very clear.

We loved our stay here. We had everything we needed to enjoy the beautiful weather and take a relaxing weekend away. We would definitely book here again!

Great place to stay

  • 4 of 5

We had a fantastic time at this cottage. The inside was so pleasant and relaxing. Fishing off the dock was great! The weather wasn't quite as warm as we hoped, but we still had a wonderful time, and it's a great area to explore. Thanks again for a great trip.

My kids and dog had a great time ... The neighbors were great. I would highly recommend this home. I wish we would have brought a kayak, other than that we had everything we wanted. Thank you.
