I am an image consultant married to a medical doctor. We both are hard workers with very tight schedules. Throughout time, we have learned to make the most of our free time. Whistler has given us the opportunity to enjoy unique moments as a couple and as a family.
Jennifer Cole purchased this chalet in 1999
We were born in a tropical country, so we had never seen the snow. Whistler was our introduction to snow, to white landscapes and frozen lakes and, of course, to winter sports. We now have a place where we experience real winter and we fell in love with it and with all it has to offer.
Enjoying the warmth and seclusion while having the ski-in/out facility and relaxing in our hot tub with the snow falling , savoring the mountain settings and wonderful views has been the perfect translation for a nice vacation time.
Very nice property--felt very much at home for the four nights we were there. Jennifer was very accommodating re: some special arrangements we requested.
We had a great stay at Jennifer's house in Whistler! The townhouse had everything we could have needed. With just a quick 5 minute car ride to Whistler Village we were able to enjoy close access to shopping, restaurants and skiing. The expert skiers in the group were in love with the ski in ski out access just steps from our front door. The best part of the day was coming home to our outdoor private hot tub! Jennifer made everything so easy, we will for sure be back next winter!
This condo was a perfect place for our 5 days in Whistler. Everything was perfect, it is very cozy and comfortable. The heated floors are amazing! The kitchen is well stocked and it was nice to be able to prepare meals at home. The great thing is that it is very quiet, calm and tranquil. Much different than stayin in Whistler village, which is what we wanted. The views of the mountain are beautiful. Of course the hot tub, boot warmer, and grill came in handy. Definitely need a car because it is not walkable to the village. The property manager Jennifer is so helpful, she helped us with equipment rental, recommendations, and picked up our lift tickets for us, a true full service accommodation!
The condo was easy to find with Jenn's detail instructions. She was very accommodating and promptly met us upon arrival in the evening to check us in. This helped us settled in quickly. The condo is even more cozier than it looks on pictures. All the tiles, whether in bathrooms or kitchen are all nicely heated which is wonderful. Jenn also showed us the short little path leading to the slope to ski in and out. This is indeed slopeside property. Very easy to get down to creekside gondola and also easy to spot when coming home after you are done skiing. Fantastic! Of course, the BBQ grill and hot tub are great after a long ski day. The master bedroom has awesome mountain view. Overall, very complete accommodation. The one car garage with room to store your skis and boot drier that can get 8 pair of boots nicely dried up by next day. Simply great!!
We spent spring break, Mar 16-23/14, in this beautiful townhouse and had a wonderful family vacation. It was truly ski in-ski out with access right outside your door. The condo is beautiful and has a great hot tub. We loved the heated kitchen and bathroom floors. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Only a 5 min drive to the village.
This was our first experience staying in Creekside rather than the Village, and we were very happy with it! The unit is an great unit, being extremely comfortable for the 4 of us staying there. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with, which was actually the main reason we stayed there. After I made an inquiry thru VRBO, she personally called me and made sure that this unit would work for us and our planned trip. I was impressed with the personal interaction in this day and age of mediocre (sometimes outsourced) customer service, automated responses, and unpersonable interactions. Before talking to Jenn we were having a hard time deciding whether to stay in the Village or try Creekside. Her great customer service swayed our decision to try out Creekside vs. the Village, and we were very pleased with the result!
The unit itself is great, the access to the Lower Dave Murrey run was within steps of the front door. It's actually a fun little run you take each morning to get down to the Creekside gondola to get up the mountain! The private hot tub is also a great feature, having stayed at a few condo's where the hot tubs were very crowded after the day on the hill. The pictures on this listing don't really do the unit justice, since we thought it looked even better in real life than the pictures. Everything we needed for a week's stay was in the unit, as we did almost all of our cooking in the unit.
There was very little with the unit that could be considered "cons", although one night we had an extremely loud neighbor who decided to stay up and watch the olympics and talk loudly into the early hours of the morning (past 2 am) but that's just luck of the draw, and even that was not that bad. The rest of the nights we never even heard anybody else in the building! Also, if you don't have a car, it is not within walking distance to the Village or Creekside. We had a car (being able to park it in our own garage was awesome!) so that was not a problem in the least. And it is also extremely easy to catch a cab if you need to. A cab is a better option anyway if you plan on going out in the Village, nobody needs to be getting behind the wheel if you are drinking. But one of the reasons we liked it was because it was away from the "action" of the village.
Overall, I would highly recommend this unit and especially Jenn for her great customer service. Next Whistler trip we will definitely be checking in with Jenn to see if any of her units are available!
