The guests can enjoy the frequent cultural visit of near Rome as the excursions to discover the Renaissance Villas and Gardens as the Monsters of Bomarzo and Villa Lante.
My passions: family, travel, good food, elegance.
As a guest I am looking for: comfort, landscape, atmosphere and good restaurant nearby.
They are the same quality, which I want to offer to my guests of the Country House Villa la Paiola near Rome. Which for 20 years, along with my wife Alena and our talented employees, we were able to make that become a 'little oasis' in the countryside of Rome. Summer swimming pool, the maxi outdoor Jacuzzi, breathtaking views, Wi-Fi. To offer, above all, well-being. To feel the energy of the Etruscan Land. To discover extraordinary places created by the greatest artists of the Italian history. But above all, to relax.
Your family home with garden, swimming pool and Jacuzzi is ready and waiting for you. Bon Voyage!
Paolo & Alena purchased this villa in 1995

We were 12 days in June,we are very happy to stay, beautiful views, very clean house.the owner of the house was very helpful.I recommend in 100%. Ryszard
Having stayed here for 4 nights in June I have to say I couldnt recommend the Villa La Paiola (and specifically Villa Glicine) more.
The owner Alena and her family and staff were very helpful. And huge effort was taken to make us feel welcome, and make sure we had all we needed. From food in the fridge, to maps, and bus timetables. The Villas although 'basic' were fantastically clean, and very comfortable.
The setting is the really special part though. The views are jaw dropping from all parts of the villa and its grounds, and the quiet and off the beaten track area suited us right down to the ground.
All i would say you need to consider before booking is how happy you are driving on Italian roads, as it is in the mountains, and can get a bit hairy - but thats the only sligtly negative comment i can think of.
Good value for money, and a great little spot for seeing Rome, AND its surrounding areas.
We – family of 4 – have stayed at Villa La Paiola in august 2014, . Our stay was wonderful. The setting of the villa is fantastic and the views from suite Palma is tremendous – nature and lake everywhere. The pool as well has a great view and the area is nicely arranged. The garden, the flowers, the apartments – everything is decorated with great taste and a lot of personal touch. Alena is a wonderful host, most helpful as to touristic and gastronomic information and just lovely with our children. She even was so kind to propose to organize a cake for the birthday of our daughter. We really enjoyed our talks and the fact that she personally makes sure that every guest is happy and the all apartments are neat and clean. Room service is perfect and the suite carries everything you would need for great holidays. The region of Lago di Vico is perfect – remote enough to be far away from turbulent tourism in order to really enjoy a calm and relaxing time. And Rome is only one hour away as well as loads of other touristic attractions which are even nearer. We definitely will return to this beautiful place! Just one tiny point– the fitness part is not really great. Some minor investments might be good – some weights and a treadmill are certainly enough. And the view from there is stunning. ....as for driving to Villa:
Please note: driving from North, exit ORTE (A1) , ignore the indication of TomTom. Usually TomTom indicates to accross the unique mountain in Lazio! Unnecessary!
Exit Orte. Follow the motorway for Viterbo (20 minutes) Exit Viterbo - North. Follow the indications for CIMINA - Lago di Vico -Ronciglione - Roma. The old medieval wall you'll have on your right, follow the indications for Ronciglione-Lago di Vico - 'Cassia Cimina'.
Take Via Cassia CIMINA in direction Ronciglione and follow it for km 16,200 = 15 minutes. Vico lake is on your right site.
On km 16.2 you will see the wooden table 'Villa la Paiola' on your right site. Easy, isn't it?
