Quaint house on quiet street close to everything. Three blocks to the downtown area but you will feel miles away when home. All pictures shown were walked to from the rental house, most are less than three blocks away. All new furniture and central heat and air. Fine dinning, music and the waves are seconds away. Fishing on the beach or the river are 2 blocks away. Everything you need is in the house except your clothes. COME ON IN AND STAYA SPELL!,
New owners who love the beach and New Smyrna Beach. We would love to have you love this town like we do. We are from the North and have moved down form Ct. 20 years ago. Loved the Jersey shore as a kid but hated the short season. Now we enjoy the beauty of the beach all year round.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this house in 2012
The house is clean and on a quiet block close to everything. We like going to the house and spending time to ourselves. There is a new park at the end of the street right on the beach where you can picnic with a world class view or get a taste of the beach.
When we first looked at the house there was a endangered turtle living in the back yard. My nickname since I was a baby was Turtle. It must of been a sign.
I will review the area, then the property itself.
NSB is a great little place with a lot of dog-friendly establishments. There is a dog beach on the intercoastal side of the island. There are several restaurants, stores, and bars in the area, as well as a Publix for your more run of the mill needs. One complaint about the area we had was that people can, and do, in large numbers, drive and park directly on the beach. Some may not consider this a flaw.
The house is situated in a great location and once you arrive you will not need your car. It is a couple of blocks from Flagler Ave, a short street packed full of businesses. There were dog-friendly restaurants, and a great coffee place on the corner of Flagler and Peninsula. You can also simply walk down Lincoln Ave to the beach as well, less than 5 minutes. The dog beach is about 1.5 miles(?) or so, so you might want a car if you don't think your pooch could handle the round trip on foot.
The owner of the property lives nearby, so if there is a problem he can help. He did help us. When we got there we saw that one of the tires on one of the two bikes was completely flat. We asked if there was a pump, and the owner called me and told me he would bring a new bike. He brought the new bike within minutes.
We stayed here in February 2013 and it was our home away from home. its nice to find a place that is cared for with love. Furnished beautifully! Fully equipped amenities for all our vacation needs. A nice yard for the kids to play. Close to everything within walking distance to Flagler Beach and all the wonderful shops in town. The people are friendly in a very relaxed atmosphere. Sandwich shops to fine dining. Live music to a quiet glass of wine listening to jazz. this town has it all.
The owners are extremely friendly and upon our request we had kayaks! We saw dolphins!!!!!! A truly exciting experience since they were up close. The house is so adorable I wanted to take it back home to NJ as my souvenir!
I totally enjoyed the sun porch and will miss morning coffee there. Can't wait to come back next year.
Down town shopping and restaurants are a stone throw away. The beach is at the end of the street, a new pavillion with grills, volleyball and picnic tables are just being built. New Smyrna Beach is known for its unique and quaint restaurants. Their is so much to do from swimming, to paddleboarding, to fishing, boating, kayaking, biking, and shopping. The famous Daytona Beach and Cape Canaveral are short distances away. Orlando and Disney are also within reasonable driving distances. Their is so much to do and such little time. We know you will love it here, we do!
