Comfortable and charming property - a real home from home!

  • 5 of 5

This was our third stay at this property. We like it more and more each time! Everything you need is near at hand - shops, restaurants, museums, and a subway station so you can get around Tokyo very easily. At the same time, the street is pleasantly quiet. The flat itself is very comfortable, supplied with everything you need and furnished with attention to detail so it is a pleasure to come home to each day. Biei is very welcoming on arrival and quick to reply to any messages. All in all, a lovely holiday.

A perfect apartment, with a warm and welcoming host

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is thoughtfully prepared for your stay by Biei, who provides such a warm welcome. From our initial inquiry we always received prompt replies. The bed is comfortable and all the equipment works well and there are very clear instructions provided, if you are unsure. The kitchen functions well and has all the necessary equipment, if you want to cook or eat in. The shower room is excellent and dies your clothes. The area is not a tourist area but is a quiet and safe location, close to restaurants, bars, Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills for shopping and the Mori Gallery which has an observation deck on the 52nd floor. The train system is easy to access and use, including going to less central areas for Tokyo first timers. We found the New Zealand Cafe Akasaka makes a really good morning coffee. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment which was a haven to return each day. Unfortunately the provided umbrellas got some use. The pocket wifi was godsend and we were able to navigate our way and find places with ease using google maps. I cannot recommend more highly this apartment and host and look forward to return visit. Biei thank you.

Un appartement idéal afin de profiter de Tokyo

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful Apartment in Great Location is Stocked with Everything you Need

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved this apartment! It's attractive, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, and is well located in a nice area and building by a subway station close to the center of Tokyo. It has a well functioning full kitchen, a wet room for showering, a washing machine, and is stocked with just about everything you could need! The owner, Biei, is a lovely lady and a wonderful host. She looked up vegetarian restaurants in the area for us. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Tokyo in the future.

A really lovely place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit, and it won't be the last! Arriving after a long journey, it feels like coming home, with a welcoming smile to greet us from a waiting Biei. The apartment is bright and excellently maintained. Everything you need, easy to look after, and plenty of charm. The position is excellent for a holiday, within easy reach of subway stations for getting around Tokyo and enjoying the buzz of this exciting city, and yet the immediate environment is quiet and restful. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby, and even several museums and art galleries within walking distance. A really relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!

Live like a local

  • 5 of 5

Tokyo is an exciting place to visit but by staying in hotels you miss half the fun. Biei's vacation home is a perfect way to live like a local. Situated halfway between two metro stops it is easy to get around all of Tokyo. The walk to the metro offers restaurants and local shops. Just two streets past the Akasaka metro are three streets full of nightlife from food to pachinko parlors.

Biei provides a pocket wifi so that your phone or computer is always linked to the internet as you explore Tokyo. By using google maps or citymapper you can easily navigate the city and never be lost.

In her home you have everything you need and a host of electronic pads which control the home. From the Japanese toilet that comes with a forty page manual to the shower room that heats up to become a non tumble dryer you can experience life the way the Japanese do.

My wife and I spent 10 days in Biei's apartment and enjoyed every minute.
