This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home just a 3-minute walk to Okanagan Lake and minutes to many other amenities in Penticton. Just a few minute walk to Loco-landing theme park and mini golf, Penticton Golf and Country Club, driving range and pitch and putt, many restaurants, a spa and salon and a historical museum. The house comes with a beautiful garden and fenced backyard for you to enjoy, as well as a patio and bbq. The property is fully fenced in the front and back, and includes ample private and road parking.
Ryan and Janelle are a married couple living in the Okanagan Valley. Born and raised in the area, we are now back living in the valley after a few years working throughout the province and traveling to many parts of the world.
Janelle Morcombe purchased this house in 2012
This home is a special place that simply 'feels like home'. Penticton is Ryan's home-town, and we felt this house would serve as a perfect home-away from home for visitors traveling to the valley.
This place was great. Awesome location and very clean. Only thing that could improve are the mattresses. Very uncomfortable, didn't sleep well. Would make it a 5 star review if they had bigger more comfortable beds. Wasn't a huge factor since house is well shaded but a/c would be a bonus
Very close to the beach and accessible to plenty of attractions for kids. We stayed with a 5 yr old, 4 yr old and 1 month old. The back yard was a great size for family dinners and games of frisbee in the evenings. We even got to snack on some of the Strawberries growing in the garden. We enjoyed lots of time on the beach and nearby small water park. Loco landing was fun too. The kids brought their scooters and had a blast scooting everywhere we went. There was a fantastic bottle of Riesling waiting for us in the fridge which we enjoyed and it led us to visit the 8th Generation winery to fill up on our way home. Only two small things preventing a 5 star rating. First, no AC (however the lot is shaded by nice big trees and the house didn't ever get unreasonably hot). Second, the mattress in the master bedroom was pretty uncomfortable because the springs are starting to wear through. Would certainly recommend this house for a great stay in Penticton.
The house is located one block from Okanogan Beach. It has great amenities with the exception of AC, which for some might be an issue. Great yard both from and back and lots of parking. Owners left a very tasty bottle of wine for us to enjoy which was much appreciated. A great house, great location and great price. I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Penticton.
This was a beautifully renovated, clean and comfortable beach house. It was the ideal location for our family of four with two elementary age children. Just a block from the beach on Lake Okanagan and 2 blocks from a playground, my two children loved being able to ride their bikes or walk to the park and beach. The house is also two blocks from a grocery store, butcher, bakery and pharmacy so there was almost no need to drive anywhere, as downtown Penticton shops and restaurants are also within easy walking distance.
The patio and back yard were also great for playing and for outdoor meals.
The owners were quick to respond to all of my questions and went out of their way to welcome us and make sure that we had an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!
The Peach House is located a 3 minute walk to the beautiful Okanagan Lake. It is also 3 minute walk to Loco-Landing Theme Park, mini golf, the famous Salty's Restaurant and many other great local restaurants. There is a spa within a few minute walk, a golf course, grocery shopping and even a local paddlewheel museum. The area is famous for wine tours throughout the valley, and has something for everyone.
