The condo is on the third floor of the La Terrasse building of the Royal Islander Club resort. Its situation within the resort offers you maximum privacy with minimum disturbance from other guests or noisy elevators. You have a breath taking view on the Caribbean Sea and the flight path of arriving aircraft.
It comprises a large living with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom with a king size bed. The balcony is so large that you can comfortably dine there with 4 persons.
The total surface is 775 sq ft. From the living and the large balcony you have spectacular views of the Caribbean sea, the pool, tropical garden and…. the approach path to the runway of the airport.
Living and bedroom have separate airco’s.
Besides the pool deck and tropical garden, the building includes a large supermarket (open 7 am – 12 pm – 7 days/week), a secured underground garage, 2 restaurants and shops. Laundromat facilities are inside the La Terrasse building.
The view of the landing aircraft is sensational. Although there is of course sometimes some noise when you have your cocktails on the balcony, the apartment is very well insulated, so inside all is quiet. There are no night flights.
Our guests have free access to the chairs and umbrellas on the public beach of the Sonesta resort and their private fitness center.
Maho Village has 24 hour security.

We live on Saba Island, Dutch Caribbean, at 12 min flight from St. Maarten. The apartment is our pied-a-terre on St. Maarten. The apartment is available in periods that we are not using it ourself.

We are residents of Saba, a small, volcanic island at 12 min. flight from St. Maarten. We have been looking for a long time for the perfect place to spend time for shopping and relaxing.
The apartment is very comfortable, offers a lot of privacy and is suitable for an extended stay. It has a fantastic view over the Caribbean see, the tropical garden and the flight path of aircraft into St. Maarten.
Because the apartment is situated within a hotel resort, it provides all the facilities that one may expect. The key cards, beach towels, etc. can be collected at the front desk.
There is an underground garage with security, a supermarket which is open 7 days/week till 12pm.
Public transport to Philipsburg stops at the front door. Restaurants, casino, beaches, golf course, etc are all within walking distance. A real place for a dream vacation.
The large apartment, great balcony and the million-dollar view at the Caribbean sea ensure an exceptional holiday experience.
The availability of an in-house supermarket and underground parking take away a lot of common holiday trouble.
The numerous restaurants and bars in Maho Village give you plenty of choices for night entertainment. The largest Casino of St. Maarten is next door. 24 hour security in Maho Village let you safely stroll the area at night.
You can save a lot on local transport costs. A rental car is only required if you want to make a tour around the island or want to visit the beaches on the French side. For your other transport needs you can make use of the public transport busses that stop in front of the resort. A ride to Philipsburg costs you $2/pp.

The view was worth the stay alone. My husband and I decided that 2 weeks on St. Maarten were not enough, so extended our stay and rented here. Because of the location we decided to save money and got rid of the rental car. There were so many places you could walk to. Lots of restaurants, shopping and a handy grocery store right underneath. Plus we could walk to Mullet Beach ( our favorite) in about 10 minutes. We even tried the bus which worked great $1.00 a ride or $2.00 to Philipsburg. What I loved the best was the view, especially with my morning coffee and paper ( which is delivered to your door). The pool area was fun to watch the planes and the crazy people who stand at the fence by Sunset Beach Bar. You can watch the action without dealing with parking and traffic . Note: if you do have car it will cost you $30.00 a week to park and the unit does not come with free wi-fi. However 3 Amegos has it right across the street. They open at 11:00 but they don't lock it so can use it in the am or go for happy hour 3-6pm $2.00 beers and great $3.00 margaritas. Len was great to work with and replied promptly. Check in/out was easy and fast. The owner also sends you detailed info about unit and helpful tips. I would Definitely stay again if I can get in, as it seems this unit is quickly rented.
This condo is in the perfect spot. Listing described it to a tee. Has everything you need. Balcony was awesome! Watched planes, big planes land. Really cool...Hung out on it a lot late night. Place was very clean and well-kept. Check-in was smooth and easy as owners had everything in order. My wife and I love Maho! You can walk to everything. Restaurants you should check out: Bamboo Bernies-super sushi, La Rosa-really good Italian, Winnies Chinese-it's that good, and Driftwood- an old wooden boat bar-great drinks, pizza, and check out their Chicken Schwarma, delicious. And you have to check out Temptation in Cupecoy, a $10 taxi ride. It's high end, but well worth it. The owner/chef is pretty famous in the Caribbean and we met him the night we went. Best item on his menu is his French Onion Soup. Also, check out Moomba-owned by an American couple-tasty tapas and Pizza Pasta-more Italian-had their Bolognese Pizza, superb! Bars-we loved hanging at The 3 Amigos-cool bartenders and the Soprano's Piano Bar. Lastly, you have to try the local ice cream called Etna's. It's made by a transplanted Sicilian. It's sold at The Maho Market. Get all your groceries, alcohol etc. there. They have everything. By the way, Maho Beach is great! Love to just chill in the water on our little rafts and watch planes land. Definitely are going back. Already have referred a friend of mine. Would 100% recommend this property. Weather was perfect! We spent 10 awesome days here and will be back very soon.
We were very impressed with the apartment. The communication upfront our stay was great, so we were completely prepared when we arrived. The apartment was clean and spacious. The balcony is a great feature, we could do some air plane spotting over breakfast. Inside of the apartment we didn't hear any noise coming from the airport which was great. We visited the swimming pool every day, and we were always able to get beach chairs and an umbrella.
From the apartment it is a short walk to Maho beach, one of the most exciting beaches you can find. Also Mullet bay is in walking distance, which is a beautiful beach, visited by many locals.
The parking garage and supermarket below the apartment are a great feature as well. If you don't rent a car, you can easily take a dollar-bus (local public transportation), they stop just in front of the apartment.
We had a great time and will certainly come back!
My husband and I had a great stay in Sip and Len's beautiful apartment. The location is great, very safe and lots of activities around. There is a parking garage and supermarket underneath the building, which is very handy. The best beaches on the island (Maho beach (next to the airport where you see all the big planes landing) and Mullet beach) are only a 5 min. walk. Highly recommended!
If you want to stay at Maho beach for a very reasonable price this is the place.
The view from your balcony is fantastic and the apartment is spacious clean and well maintained and has everything you could need to enjoy your a vacation.
Maho restaurants are just a few steps away and there is a supermarket underneath the building were you can get all you need.
We changed our travel dates a couple of times and the owner Len was very accommodating with our request in one simple email.
Staff were very friendly & check in check out a breeze.
The pool area was never crowded and at times felt like we had the place to ourselves. The view if you want to see 747s landing & taking off from the pool terrace is spectacular & a must for aviation fans.
Overall great communication with Len the owner , a fantastic apartment and will be back again.

We stayed here for a week and were very surprised to find out that we needed to supply our own toilet paper in the bathroom, and bags to take out the garbage. we paid extra for a third person and it was only set up for two people. all linen was stained and well worn. service is only after you leave (which you pay for) and the towels were pretty rank by the time 7 days went by even after airing them out every day on the balcony. the hide a bed was not set up to use even though we paid extra for a third person. we found linen in a drawer that we could use but there was a note that stated "do not use this linen-it belongs to the owners". we had to pay $50.00 for internet for the week and that was only for two devices...which there was three of us, all with our own device.
location is good and close to a small grocery store. we have travelled a lot in the last 20 years in all kinds of rentals, much of it on st maarten, and have never experienced anything like this place. would not recommend this to anyone

You'll have maximum privacy. The building is located at the entrance of Maho Village. Immediately across the street are the Royal Islander Club-La Plage and the Sonesta Beach hotel. Maho village comprises many shops, restaurants with international cuisine, night clubs and the largest casino on St. Maarten, Casino Royale.
Maho beach is across the street, but within seven min. walking you can be on the golf course or the beaches of Mullet Bay or Simpson Bay. The famous Sunset Bar and the Bliss are even closer.
Maho Village is 1000 yards from the airport terminal. The public bus connection Philipsburg – Mullet Bay has a stop in front of the building. Thanks to 24 hour security you can safely stroll through Maho Village at any time during day or night.
Frontstreet in Philipsburg is world famous for its many, tax-free shops. Along the way you pass by the many mega yachts that have their mooring in The Lagoon.
Going the other way, in the direction of Marigot (French side of St. Maarten) you pass by the luxury indoor shopping center The Blue Mall and the large yacht harbor of Cupecoy.
